I stayed in cabin 10 which was clean and the mattress on springs was surprisingly comfortable. There is a kitchenette with sink but no sink in bathroom. That's the good news. I had no hot water, which if they had told me on check in instead of in morning when I told them, could have been remedied by flipping a... More

Looked like a nice place @ first.........but upon closer inspection, it was rather run down, cluttered, dirty/sticky doors & handles & stinky. And when making a purchase of a bag of crushed ice, & 3 single sodas, it came to over $12......excuse me....... The woman cashier looked me up & down as if I offended her with just my mere... More

We are bicycle touring the northwest staying in motels. This motel doesn't have a great exterior or property but the room is very clean and it is better than sleeping along the side of the road or paying the Highlands Resort across the road $420/night. The positives: clean room, good water pressure in sink and shower, good lighting in room... More

Minimalist rooms without TV, phone, or wifi. Rooms were clean but bare. Great proximity to Lassen National Park. They are also pet friendly. Owners run the cafe with tasty, reasonably priced breakfasts and are very friendly.

We stayed 2 days in this resort, they did not even provide a photo of the room when we called. But since we were booking last minute we did not have an option. We were staying in a 2 room house but the surrounding of the house and even the house was poorly maintained. We could not even switch on... More

I and my friends stayed here because Lassen Mineral Lodge get our booking record wrong. We got a cabin with one queen bed downstairs, two mattresses upstairs (no trolley beds allowed), a small living room and a kitchen. The place was a bit rusty like other comments said and for the price I would expect a slightly larger cabin with... More

Good: location is not too far out of Lassen Park (which was FULL). It has showers. We tent camped and the site was large and nobody else was there. Not so Good: Bathrooms in general could use some attention. While grateful for showers, we also felt terrible that the shower heads/faucets were leaking. No bear box at campground. Water spigot... Very friendly staff. Don't come if you are looking for a fancy place. Visit the nat. Park mt. Lassen. Wonderful trails. Take care you bring some groceries. Although the resort has a small restaurant button they only serve dinner in the weekends.

This review is of the restaurant only during breakfast; We stayed somewhere else, near here, but would stop into the CM cafe for breakfast on our way to the Lassen Park entrance. The Child's Meadow cafe has the usual breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, waffles, etc. This was exactly what my kids were looking for. This is not gourmet,... More

We stopped here for lunch. Real throwback to another life! Decor could do with some updating... However, the food was good and it was most certainly an entertaining experience: the owner is completely off his rocker! Very hospitable, but a nutter!! He spent about two hours telling us stories and how apparently he (5 ft + hope to be a... More
