We stayed in a two bedroom cabin in mid June. Cabin was well equipped: futon in living room next to working fireplace, a complete kitchen and two bedrooms. Everything was clean and in working order. Furniture, while mismatched, was all clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great (we had milkshakes for breakfast). Only wish we could have stayed longer!

I have visited this resort every year for the last 10 years. I simply love this place and the people there. The food and beer are always excellent and the place is always spotless. They have 10 or 11 mini cabins you can rent and all at very reasonable prices. They also have a campground and R.V. camping if you're... More

After reading the trip advisor comments on this resort I was a little worried about our recent stay. Some of the comments may be well worth listening to but I must say our stay was really wonderful !! We stayed in cabin 7 ( well worth the extra $10.00 per night!) . The back deck looked over a meadow with... More

A great place to use as a base to explore Lassen National Park. We were in cabin #3 - perfect for the two of us. It is rustic, but clean. In addition to the park, there is a hiking trail at the resort. We enjoyed our dinner out under the trees. Everything was clean and comfortable.

I had read review but guess I didn't quite understand that this place is really remote. It is a 6 miles drive down a 1 1/2 lane winding road. When you finally arrive you wonder if its the right place -- nothing is near by. Including any semblance of cell phone reception. "Resort" in the name is pretty funny. There... More

Nice old cabins, small, simple yet what more do you need? The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked. I would suggest that you bring the food you plan to cook, as the little store shelves are pretty sparse. Breakfast doesn't open till 9 AM, so be prepared if you want to get out early to visit the park, etc.... More

this is the second time we've stayed at Mill Creek while visiting Lassen and once again we were happy with the peaceful setting and helpful staff. This year we were in Cabin 11 which is a bit of a snug fit for 4 (our kids used the futon in the front room and we used the bedroom) but it suited... More

My wife and I spent two nights at the resort (Cabin 3) and very much enjoyed it. Know in advance that this is not luxury lodging -- old cabins with no TV or WiFi (that is part of its appeal, for us) -- but very clean. No AC, but all windows opened and the place cooled off nicely at night.... More

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park based on the good reviews on TA.com. We are so glad we did and had a very enjoyable stay. It was very quiet and peaceful – off the beaten track. We stayed at cabin #6 which was a large one bedroom with a sitting area and kitchen. The... More

We stayed at cabin #10 (2 bedrooms, bath, kitchen, fireplace). Here are pros & cons, and a couple of explanation notes below. Pros: - Small, but comfortable. - VERY rustic, but very clean. - Nice towels. - Very convenient to Lassen Volcanic National Park. - A million hummingbirds on the patio. - Milkshakes. - Very reasonably priced. Cons: - Everything,... More
