Stayed here with my friend and our kids. This place is very cute and cozy. They have a big lodge style dining room where they serve daily gourmet specials. The price was reasonable and about a beautiful 45 min drive to Yosemite. We had a very nice stay here.

This secluded resort offers both cabins and hostel-like dorms. The staff is very friendly and helpful and it is situated in a wooded area, giving it a really peaceful atmosphere. The food in the cafeteria is pretty good and it is only a short drive away from Yosemite Park. I think they even offer a shuttle service, but I'd recommend... More

Stayed a couple of nights at the bug on our honeymoon and was impressed! This review is based on a private room with private bath. Didn't want to pay the big prices in the valley which is why we chose here. Room/cabin was decorated in a African theme and was very cosy plus clean. Heating worked well. No tv in... More

I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay while visiting Yosemite for a few days. Didn't want to camp, and wasn't sure how the permanent tents in Yosemite were going to be. The lodges in Yosemite are pretty expensive. The Bug was perfect for its price. Great food selections. We got a 2 bed private room, shared the bathroom... More

I stayed here because I wanted to explore Yosemite for a day. I came by myself, and decided to stay outside of the park to save some money. I stayed in one of the HI rooms and there was only one other person in the room for 12, which is semi divided so it was almost like my own room.... More

We stayed in the large mixed dorm and that is what my rating is based on. Compared to most hostels the room was clean, nice beds, good bathroom facilities and nice and quiet during the night. Plus a great price for the location. The resort itself is in a good spot, only 30 mins outside Yosemite with a nice scenic... More

I have stayed there only for a night. Staff is friendly and faclities are nice with a great selection of things to do: bar, sauna... I haven't had time to try it all! Great place to chill out after a long hike in Yosemite.

We have stayed here multiple times with different options. We love the insulated tents cause they are quiet but cozy. Not as much of a fan of the canvas tents cause you can hear everything around you. When we have have a personal bathroom we tend to stay longer. The community bathrooms are also not horrible but we tend to... More

My family and I stayed at the Yosemite Bug several years ago - we have such fond memories of our stay we are now planning a return visit to the U.S hope to stay at the Bug just outside Yosemite with its spa and jacuzzi. The scenery was so breath-taking with the water falls and streams on the property. It... More

We stayed at the Bug Inn for a 3 night stay in September 2013. We had one of the log cabin rooms which was roomy and clean, with a large en suite bathroom. This was set on the side of a wooded hill and we had deer's visiting each day. The best part of this complex was the restaurant, the... More
