This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. The room reminded us of a room we stayed in at the Hyatt in Brisbane -- a beautiful room with luxury appointments. The staff were polite, helpful, and friendly. I made a mistake in the booking, by booking August, rather than September. I called 3 days before arrival, and... More

This is a terrible hotel to visit. The Manager was rude and insulting. The food was poor and the duck was poorly prepared. This is one hotel you should not visit.

Liked best: Nicole at the front desk was very professional. The spacious room was full of nice amenities, the courtyard location on the 4th floor was quiet and restful. The ambience is charming. The room rate. Walking distance to Stanford. The very generous late check-out time. Like least: The complimentary cookies ran out too soon (that's OK because we really... More

I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. The staff was exceptional, service excellent, food out of this world, and the room spacious and comfortable. The hotel is very unique and even though it is on a busy street, it is private and quiet. No chain hotel feeling and it seemed everyone went out of their way... More

I recently stayed 2 nights at the Stanford Park Hotel with my family of 5. It is definitely one of the better hotel experiences we've had in recent years. I would classify this hotel as warm and inviting at every turn. The staff is friendly and professional, and while the atmosphere is elegant (there is beautiful original artwork throughout the... My husband and I travel frequently. We've stayed in places from one end of the spectrum to the other, but generally in 4 to 5 star hotels. The Stanford Park Hotel ranks in our top 5 % of those. My husband was having serious back surgery at Stanford. We wanted to be close and comfortable. We had seen the Stanford... More

Awesome place to stay. The entire staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. Chris and Jordan with the valet staff and Megan the bartender always had smiles on their faces and wonderful tips on what to do and where to eat. The roaring fire in the fireplace in the lobby and bar was always nice to see even though the nights... More

Excellent, quite facility. Wait staff was, all around, one of the best I've ever encountered. Hope to visit again soon.

We loved our stay at the SP. We were a bit worried by the other reviews about the train noise but luckily we had a room that faced the courtside. The room was nice and the bed very comfy and soft. The bathroom could use more towel racks as I was constantly was searching for a place to hang my... More

I travel often. My experience of dealing with hotel staff is something that really matters to me. I found this hotel to be of unexpectedly high quality. Every encounter I had with staff, from in-house, to front desk, to valet etc., was exceptionally courteous, professional and personal. I spent a week at Stanford University on a business trip, and this... More
