We were expecting the usual in a city motel - basic, bare-boned, fair, just OK. WHAT A SURPRISE! This room was decorated so nicely, attention paid to details. Just lovely! From outside it looks as an usual motel but inside it's completely different. The rooms are great, ours doesn't have anything less than ones in some 4 stars hotels. This hotel is right in downtown Menlo Park within walking distance to many nice restaurants and close to downtown Palo Alto as well. This is a formerly inexpensive motel that has been renovated with upscale furniture and comfortable beds but it still feels like a motel.
