We were expecting the usual in a city motel - basic, bare-boned, fair, just OK. WHAT A SURPRISE! This room was decorated so nicely, attention paid to details. Refrig, Micro-wave, stainless steel ice bucket and tray, stainless bowl for rolled wash cloths, desk, desk lamp, free internet, chair, 2 holders for suitcases. Plenty of parking, nice breakfast included. JUST LOVELY.... more

Just lovely! From outside it looks as an usual motel but inside it's completely different. The rooms are great, ours doesn't have anything less than ones in some 4 stars hotels. Rooms are decorated with Klimt's paintings and the owner takes care of every details. There is also a complimentary breakfast where you can have waffles, yogurts, muffins, cereals, etc.... more

This hotel is right in downtown Menlo Park within walking distance to many nice restaurants and close to downtown Palo Alto as well. This is a formerly inexpensive motel that has been renovated with upscale furniture and comfortable beds but it still feels like a motel. The rooms are quite small and the bathrooms are those of a 2-star hotel... more

we just came back from a four-[week]night stay at this inn with our two young sons. we would stay here again. the value of this property resides mostly in its warmly helpful and supportive staff, and excellent location. we had read reviews about [the manager] parag's great service and indeed experienced the same. parag and the night staff (gentleman "originally... more

I love the Menlo Park area and this hotel is walking distance from Santa Cruz Ave, which is a big plus. Too, the staff was exceptionally friendly ... no problem there, either. Unfortunately, the room itself was very small and dark. The Inn is an upgraded motor inn, and it's one of the kind where people walk in front of... more

I couldn't have been happier with the service and hotel considering the price and the last minute reservation. I've often paid $300 or more per night in Silicon Valley and you can get that level of hotel - but not always. Yes the picture of the quaint little inn is different and I even drove by the hotel when I... more

Booked this based on reviews, and was not disappointed. Great mid-penunsila location. Although laid-out motel-style (outside room access) the rooms themselves were upscale hotel quality. Clean, moden, comfortable. Extra large too. Thoroughly recommended. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Free wi-fi. more

I am not familiar with the area and used the reviews on Hotel.com to choose this location. The front desk was very friendly and the lobby was very classy. The room was huge and with modern decor. The toiletries were up scale and they had Starbucks coffee for morning. There was a nice gift of water bottles/cookies and chips. The towels were really fluffy and... more
