After doing much searching on the internet, we decided to stay here due to the fact that they have a pool (one of only a few in the area) that we knew the kids would enjoy. We were NOT disappointed! The hotel itself is located on a gorgeous piece of property...organic, self-sustainable gardens, horse pastures, resident llamas, and only a... more

I came here in April and overall had a lovely time. The rooms were very warm and cozy, lovely woodburning fireplaces, nice bathrooms, beautiful deck, and we had a view of the gardens and ocean. My partner and I had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and although I liked the breakfast well enough (and it's included) and the breakfast... more

We had always heard great things about the Stanford Inn and were delighted when our meeting was scheduled there in early March. Our arrival/check-in process was efficient and friendly. We brought our shih tzu along and she was made very welcome. Thougthful attention to detail not only for the human guests but also for the canine guests. She had specially-made... more

Where to start?!?!?!? Nestled most grandly actually against a ridge over the Big River Mouth on the Northern California Coast, this amazingly warm and friendly masterpiece of an Inn touts in room fire places and decks overlooking amazingly kept gardens and horse stables set against a view of the Pacific Ocean. No better place to get away, take your pets,... more

While traveling to Stanford Inn on business I was so pleasantly surprised by the entire location of the hotel and restaurant! The views are wonderful! It was stormy when I was there but it did not matter, the views were still fantastic and scenic! The food was amazing, not my "normal" way of eating but presentation and taste far exceeded... more

Just returned from 2 days at the Stanford Inn. It was wonderful! Even though it rained most of the time, I didn’t mind as I was in their conference room in meetings and could see the rain from the window. The property is stunning. They have the most amazing vegetable gardens which I toured the morning I left. My room... more

If you find yourself reading this review, you are on the right track.... I just stayed two nights at this Inn and it was awesome. Clean Claen Clean. I was there for buisness so I didn't get to enjoy the full compliment of what this place had to offer, however, i could see that there was no shortage of things... more

The 5 members of our management team went to the Stanford Inn over the weekend for an intensive facilitated retreat. We stayed in suites 253, 254, and 257. Suite 257, which is located in "the barn" (which is more accomodating than any barn you will EVER see), is where we held the retreat. The accomodations were more perfect than we... more
