I had a concern with my stay. Nan was unable to provide an answer to my concern regarding whether or not, as I was advised, I was the only person in the property. I am a single senior citizen and hearing someone in an upstairs room after being advised I was the only person at the property made me very... More

we stayed here over columbus day weekend for a quick getawy and really enjoyed it. our host, nan, prepared the most delicious breakfasts which included two courses-a sweet first and a savory second-which was more than enough to keep you going through the day. breakfast is only served at one time slot-9 am-which worked well for us as it gave... I had such high hopes. We are frequent travelers to this area. I wanted to stay at a sister property but could never reach anyone. Should have been a flag. I booked a cottage room. Sounded great. Sounded private n quiet. Just what we wanted for our late romantic Valentine's day. Upon arriving the inn is locked. We were here... More

My boyfriend and I spent a romantic weekend in Sonoma & Mendocino in Feb 2014. We stayed one night at the Garden Court room. The breakfast was really delicious. However, the lady prepared two courses instead of just a buffet, so the other couple, who was there as well, actually had to wait for us. The house is very elegant... More

We just returned from our lovely stay Nov 7-9, 2013. We stayed for two nights in the Pacific View room. On a clear day, you can see the ocean in the distance, so the room is true to it's name. The room is somewhat smaller than what we expected based on the pictures, but the room was comfy and clean... More

I had never stayed in a bed ‘n’ breakfast before, so this was a new experience. I have no other bnb experience to compare it to. I’m glad to report that it was good. It’s an old house, lots of character. The downstairs has three common rooms, very nicely appointed, one with a cozy gas fireplace. Our room had a... More

Stayed for two nights en route to San Francisco. This is probably my favourite out of the 18 hotels/b&bs we have booked in our 6 week tour of the Western USA. We had the Redwoods room, which had the benefit of easy access to the lounge area so when others had retired we could sit by the fire in comfort.... More

We had a really lovely few days in the Garden Cottage. The innkeepers were gracious and warm and helpful with everything we needed. Like others who wrote about their stay in that room we had a series of issues which I believe may have been fixed by the handyman who came in as we were leaving. Somewhat of a nuisance... More

...if you like B&Bs, I can't imagine finding one better than this. It was my understanding that one of the owners worked for a luxury hotel or hotel company. It shows, everything about this place is right. It's charming without being cutesy, elegant without attitude and the staff was great. Every detail was perfect: The linens, decor, bathing products, and... More

Great breakfasts, amazing rooms, sheets from Neiman Marcus...must be a Blue Door inn. Seriously well-done. With many rooms at three inns in the villages, there's something for a variety of price points. The innkeeper is flexible with arrival times and communicates well with guests. Be on time for breakfast, though! ;) We stayed in Garden Court for a week. Great... More
