Noisy, noisy, noisy - that's all I can say, really. False advertising on top of it. Great "Cayun Food"?!?! for breakfast and "Depression era" eggs?!?!? I have to say that for the first time in my travels I regret having stayed at a place. Oh, and did I metion the white trailer trash camp across the little street?! Go a... more

Overall the stay was nice. The owners were hospitable, the room clean and breakfast was good. The one thing I disliked was that the ocean view feature of the room was improperly advertised. The ocean is across the highway!! The property is right on the highway 1 with cars zooming up and down all the time. We had a tiny... more

I stayed in the Headland's room for one night this past weekend in Annie's Jughandle Beach B&B. Our room was advertised with an 'ocen veiw'---- what the brochure forgot to mention was that the ocean is across the highway that sits right under your window!! Instead of being lulled to sleep by the ocean sounds, one has to listen to... more

Had a delightful weekend in spite of rainy weather. Michelle and Greg told us about a few local things to do, and that was fun. Food was good and accomodations very comfortable. Nice time of the year to see whales, which we did from the inn. more

I was a guest in the Headlands room on a holiday weekend and felt that the room was overpriced in that it did not include a fireplace or tub and the ocean view was compromised by power lines and road noise from Highway One outside the window. In addition, on the first day all four couples awoke to no coffee... more

I was shocked by the bad reviews then realized that Gregg & Michelle are new owners who have really turned a tired B&B into a first class establishment! The gardens are equisite, the hospitality unsurpassed, the breakfasts memorable and the lovely new deck with its oceanview a perfect place to have afternoon tea or wine. The Inn is the perfect... more

Annie's was a great value for what we got, especially on a busy holiday weekend. We stayed in the Redwood room which was complete with gas fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Very cozy and comfortable. It was so nice to have coffee waiting outside the room in the morning and the breakfast served was delicious. more

We had a great time at Annie's. Enjoyed the breakfast's and the comfy cozy feeling we got there. The owners were very hospitable and made us feel at home. We would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to be at home away from home. Thanks Greg and Michelle! more

My wife and I stayed here during a Memorial Day weekend getaway. We booked the Headlands Room for two nights (Fri/Sat) and mentioned to the owner we might want to stay a third. The morning after our second night, we confirmed we'd like to stay one more night (mostly to avoid the hassle of moving), and were told this would... more

I apologize for waiting for 2 years to write this review, but I figured it's better to be late than to never do it at all. My wife and I stay in the Mendocino area at least twice a year, and we stayed at the Jughandle once in late 2003 in one of the rooms in the converted barn. While... more
