We see so much potential in this little b&b.. it's not a queen anne. It's a cape cod.. It needs much updating, when it was updated it was not done with the style of what the house should be, but more of a hodge podge.. charming to some perhaps.. Nice folks, wildish garden in back, more of that hodge podge... more

We stayed four nights in the Geranium Room, which is very large, full of light, comfortable and has its own outside entrance. The location of the Inn is great. It is right next door to a wonderful restaurant, the Mendocino Cafe. We ate there twice during our visit. And, it is only about a block away from the main part... more

This was the cheapest B&B I could find in Mendocino. We paid $150+tax=$175 for one night in the Lookout 2 room. It was nice, clean, bright, and quiet. The breakfast was delicious - muffin, fruit, yogurt, OJ, and coffee. Jim and Ayla were informative and friendly but not overbearing. The gardens were lovely, there was ample street parking, and the... more

We stayed at the Sea Gull Inn for one night on our trip down the west coast. We were in the Sea Urchin room. It was fantastic. We could not have asked for anything better. We were given some great dinner recommendations and then watched the sunset in Mendocino. The room was small, but it made us feel like we... more

We enjoyed our stay once again in The Seagull B+B, although the Abalone room was a liitle small to say the least (would recommend only as a single really). The breakfast, garden and general quality of service remains high, and we would use it again. more

We stayed at the Sea Gull Inn B&B in Mendocino June 6th & 7th, 2009. The four of us (wife, myself, & two teenagers) stayed in the Barn, a separate cottage in the back of the gorgeous little garden. Room was quaint and cozy, with an upstairs sleeping loft for the kids (one bed, low headroom but functional). Small bathroom... more

What more could you ask? We stayed at Sea Gull for the first leg of our trip through wine country and it could not have gotten us off to a better start. We stayed in Lookout 1, a charming first floor room at the front of the inn and it was just lovely. The room was small but charming, the... more

The Sea Gull Inn was exactly what you would look for in a New England bed and breakfast on the California coast--cozy, charming, and clean. We thought it was the best place we could have stayed-it was right in the center of town, yet also just a tiny village block set away from Main Street which gave it the sense... more

My wife and I went to Mendocino for the 1st time to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. We did not really know where to stay, but decided upon the Seagull Inn based on its location and reviews- what a GREAT decision! We stayed in the Abalone room, and although it is a little cramped, it is very cozy and homey.... more
