We ventured up North to celebrate a belated anniversary. We were thrilled with the entire experience at the Breery Gulch Inn. Our room (Raven) was large, but cozy, the food was incredible and the hospitality was marvelous. Guy, the Innkeeper, was friendly, generous and concerned that his guests were comfortable. We will definetely be visiting the Brewery Gultch Inn again... More

This inn was very highly rated by other reviewers and we were not disappointed. From the first communication via phone and the emailed confirmation in which they give very detailed directions to the inn, we felt like we were being welcomed like special guests. In fact, upon arrival there waited a bottle of champagne, on the house. They will ask... More

We stayed at the Brewery Gulch Inn at the end of August 2007. It is in a nice location about a mile south of Mendocino, on the inland side of the freeway, but still very close to the ocean. The property is built from reclaimed redwood, and has an amazing great room, dominated by an enclosed fire. It's a big... More

Never having been to northern California before, I took an internet "flier" on this interesting looking place - which is really a B&B. My wife and I arrived late in the afternoon after spending 3 days cycling in the Alexander Valley. The beginning was not auspiciuos. We missed the sign and drove by on our first attempt. (This is apparently... More

We were fortunate enough to drop in and find a room still available. Guy, our host, the gracious new owner escorted us on a tour, his genuine warmth and enthusasium is infectous . The peaceful almost enchanting setting offers view of the Pacific from every room. We were delighted with the early evening h'ordurves and wine tasting, the food was... More

Outstanding service, beautiful rooms and lodge, great breakfast and snacks. gorgeous redwood finishes everywhere. We completely loved it. It was very tasteful, comfortable, and elegant. I hope we can return soon. It was expensive for us, but worth every penny.

Our favorite place for return visits on the Mendocino Coast. Beautiful facility, lovely grounds, friendly and accommodating staff and the best breakfasts and evening wine tasting/appetizer buffet anywhere.

My husband and I took our first vacation without any of our 5 daughters this past week. It was an impromptu trip to the San Francisco area. We booked hotels as we made our way through the wine country and stayed at a different fine Inn each night for 8 nights. Our favorite place, by far, was the Brewery Gulch... More

What a fantastic place! Situated approximately one mile south of the town on Highway 1. The view from the balconey could not be more amazing! I particulary loved the specially milled redwood used throughout the whole structure. It is beyond description and something you have to see to believe the craftmanship that went into the designs. Our room had a... More
