Just spent one night with family on the way through Mendocino and Guy, Steve and the team at Brewery Gulch are quite superb. They gave created a truly hospitable and welcoming inn with so many personal touches that make you feel truly welcome. Without hesitation stay here!

We recently stayed only one night at Brewey Gultch and everything about it was amazing. The romm was very tastefully done with handy instruction sheets for everything. I swear, they are the most thoughtful hosts, they think of everything. The bed was great, excellent lines:) When we called to check availability we mentioned that we just got married and when... Over the last several decades, my husband and I have stayed at a plethora of small inns and B & B's around the country, and I guarantee you this is the best of the best. Why? Because the owner, Guy, has put heart and soul -- and plenty of elbow grease -- into making sure it is. As I told... More

My husband and 12 year old daughter found came up to the inn for a last minute trip and it did not disappoint. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was very good, and the inn is beautiful. They think of everything: warm blankets and a telescope so that you can enjoy the outdoor seating and bird-watching, loaned binoculars when... More

BGI delivers. We were there on a rainy week, and they were not full. The room (Heron) was very nice. Good view of the cove. Very good bathroom. Queen bed, but nothing is perfect. People complain about the road noise, but it was not bad at all and sounds like the surf anyway! Super, non intrusive service. They will set... More

It IS possible to dream up exactly what you'd want for a little "staycation" for a lucky Bay Area resident like my away-at-college son, and me from LA. Delicious breakfast and dinner included, staff that made you feel like a guest in their home, beautifully appointed public areas and rooms, and some of the best, most storied views in California.... We have stayed here for several years, always several days at a time. Guy is the perfect Innkeeper with a welcoming and caring team around him. Peg is a culinary guru. The Inn is truly a home away from home with intersting walks and visits to make in the area. Do not miss the Botanical Gardens in Fort Bragg, nor... More

Thanks to the reviews on trip advisor we spent a wonderful night at Brewery Gulch Inn. Got there around 5 pm and freshened up in the Smugglers Cove room. Very spacious, clean, bright room with a view of the ocean. Enjoyed a well prepared dinner - with a standout almond tart for dessert. Plenty of variety and lovely drinks of... More

Guy and his staff have such an amazing operation here. Their chef Peg (previous stint at Four Seasons in San Fran) knows exactly what she is doing and will cook up some mean organic spread. Don't miss out on the Mango Lassi drink or the organic hot chocolate with your meal. Their wine hour is more like a small dinner... More

Only stayed for one night, but it was lovely. There is nothing bad to say about this place - all the good things you read are true. The only thing I did not care for was having staff who did not speak English as a first language. Sorry, but for the price of this place, I expect to be able... More
