We had a great time. We were upgraded to a room with a double soaker tub. It was luxurious. The lighter dinner was fabulous and the wines were well chosen. more

We were guests when our son and daughter-in-law were married in the town of Mendocino this past June. Both bride and groom families stayed at the Inn. Anticipating staying at a Bed-n-Breakfast I was pleasantly surprised that Brewery Gulch was, in fact, an Inn. How comfortable and cozy!! The ambiance was outstanding: great fireplace, comfortable lobby and sitting area, scenic... more

Our stay started off with a bad mood hostess which put us off a little, but the cheerful hostess the next day and then the owner himself the following two days more than made up for our initial cold welcoming. The room was extremely nice and clean and roomy. The overall price is steep but you are paying for the... more

The room (Smuggler's Cove) was very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent. The food for the evening wine and snacks service for top notch and enough for dinner. We will stay here again. more

From the moment we entered the Inn, we felt special and pampered. The staff were so friendly and attentive and made us feel at home. The elegant yet rustic surroundings were perfect for the rugged Mendocino coast. The delicious cooked to order breakfasts and the bountiful buffets at the wine hour were fabulous. more

Just returned from four glorious days at the Brewery Gulch Inn and miss it already. I have a horrible track record for B&Bs. My family often ribs me about it, but I have totally redeemed myself this time. Everything about this establishment is top notch...the rooms, the gorgeous great room, the magnificent ocean view from the patio and from our... more

This inn has such a calming effect, I just wanted to sit out in the common area next to the fireplace and read all day. We had great weather and I could have just as easily sat on the deck - such a beautiful view. Guy, the innkeeper, was nice and always up at the front desk between 8am and... more

My husband and I only stayed one night and wished we would have booked more nights. The inn was calm, relaxing, and the perfect place for us to unwind. Our room was simple and decorated in mission style furniture with calming earth tones. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had the best night sleep there. The living/lounge area was... more

We had a wonderful last minute stay at the Brewery Gulch Inn. The innkeeper made us feel right at home with his wine offerings and wonderful complimentary appetizers. The room was very comfortable with an awesome view on the Pacific Ocean. They thought of every detail when appointing the rooms. There was even a docking station for my i-pod- that... more

1. Guy and his staff were excellent hosts. They made us feel very welcome. 2. The location is very good--about a mile south of Mendicino--and has very good views of the water from the large, comfortable deck. 3. The food is outstanding. There is a full, order-off-the menu, breakfast included in the price of the room. It was one of... more
