My husband and I took a trip up the coast from Los Angeles on up to Mendocino and back for our last hurrah before our first born comes. I have to say this was the furthest north we went together and the drive was spectacular and the B&B was a great place to end up before starting our long trip... More

We spent two quiet, comfortable nights in this well-run and well-appointed B&B. Our second floor room had a great ocean view (when the fog blew off), comfy bed and all the amenities expected of a top notch accommodation. The full breakfast and evening light supper were delicious and plentiful. The location is very close to town and to great hiking... More

We just returned from a great stay at BGI. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast and dinner which are included inthe room rate. I would highly recommend Mendocino for a long weekend visit if you enjoy great scenery, wineries, boutique shopping and food.

This B+B provided such a scenic view of the Pacific in the distance, with beautiful foiliage and trees beyond the inviting back deck-patio. Staff is very informative and helpful. I was amazed that the manager helped us do laundry, since we were traveling for 14 days. I agree with other comments about the bacon...BEST bacon I have ever eaten!!! Really... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 glorious nights in late April 2013. Everything about the experience was wonderful. The inn does not explain the "light dinner" as a full dinner but it absolutely is. Each night dinner was complimented by different wines from many local wineries. When you add up the perfect scenic location that overlooks the ocean,... More

We recently stayed for four nights as part of our honeymoon. The staff at the Inn was attentive, but not intrusive. Even though there are several rooms at the Inn, we felt that we had the privacy of our own area. We really enjoyed our made-to-order breakfasts, especially the millionaire bacon. As an added bonus, delicious homemade pastries were served... More

The staff was amazing. It was our 1st wedding Anniversary. They surprised us with a chilled bottle of Champagne in our room. The made to order breakfast was just that. The chef made everything-even an egg white veggie omelet taste great. The lite dinners were fair from lite. They were a meal in themselves. They really pay attention to the... More

Nice Craftsman style inn in Mendocino. Nice views from some rooms. Lovely patio overlooking ocean. Heavy hors doeuvres and wine in the evening could be dinner if you so choose. Breakfast is included. Varied choices, but food quality is not outstanding. Rooms are comfortable lodge-style rooms. Close to town.

Thank you for staying with us. I am sorry that you found the food choices varied but not outstanding. We work hard to provide memorable breakfasts and evening buffets. Our produce, wherever possible, is locally sourced and organic. We employ two chefs with outstanding credentials (Ritz Carlton-San Francisco, Gary Danko and Buchon in Las Vegas). The night you were with... More

Just returned from a 5-night stay at Brerwery Gulch Inn, and it was by far the most comfortable and delightful place we have encountered in our many years of visiting the Mendocino coastal area! All of the BGI staff were friendly and very accommodating. The Inn provides everything to make guest comfortable: clean, comfy "great room" with huge metal fireplace... More

Some might consider BG a little pricey, but you get what you get pay (for). If you want to unwind, get away yet feel at home, and leave with a feeling of, "I can't wait to come back", this is the place. BG has become an annual getaway for us.
