We read the reviews on TripAdvisor.com and had very high expectations of this Inn. The building had great charm and a warm welcoming atmosphere, and our room (Raven) was very comfortable and full of style. The view was breath-taking and peaceful. The light buffet dinner was more than enough to satisfy our dinner needs. Everything tasted great, but vegetables were... more

I like to preview hotel and their ratings with tripadvisor before making hotel reservations. Loved this hotel. The library-like lobby was warm and inviting. Books, games, magazines along with warm fireplace. The evening appetizers a whole meal in itself. Hubby went back for the pear tart dessert. Delicious morning gourmet breakfast. Only problem of finding the entrance especially with poorer... more

We traveled with friends, which made the long ride bearable. Situated with a view of the river and the sea, the place is inviting from the beginning. It is rustic but luxurious. The staff is welcoming and interested in enhancing your experience. We thought that the cost was a little high, but the dinner buffets and the full service breakfasts... more

This was our second visit to Brewery Gulch Inn and the whole time we kept saying over and over that we would not wait so long between visits again. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The food is spactacular - I love the millionare bacon and the chef's special hot chocolate in the morning. The evening appetizers are so filling... more

Our room (Osprey) was grand with a view of the ocean and windows on three sides. The bed was heavenly, as was the service. The food was as good as it gets, with a full breakfast menu including some of the best eggs benedict I have ever had. The Mango lassi is a wonderful addition to the menu. In the... more

Guy and his staff have a great attitude, great attention to detail, and great service! This place rates top on all B&B we have stayed, and we keep coming back. You will never, and I mean, never be disappointed. The food is spectacular, and the wine/beer hour with food cannot be missed. more

At first, the price was a gulp (no pun intended) however, the Brewery Gulch Inn provides a a chef's menu breakfast and light supper as part of the cost. Rooms are gorgeous with your own fireplace. The living room is stocked with games to sit around the fireplace and play, dvd's to take to your own room, wine and dessert... more

Found BGI online and were we lucky! Great location a short distance from the village of Mendocino with ocean frontage walk right across the road and view of the Pacific from almost every room. A modern, spacious, welcoming structure with lots of wood and glass, tall architectural windows and doors to let in all the magnificent views. Definitely not Victorian!... more

We had a perfect three-night stay this week at Brewery Gulch Inn. From even before we arrived, we were treated like very special and welcomed guests by Guy and his staff. We spent three days taking advantage of all that BGI has to offer -- private fireplace in the room, complete peace and solitude, private patio overlooking the Pacific ocean,... more
