I Booked a room here for a couple nights on a coastal driving trip with my spouse and am glad I did. It was right in town, and an easy walk to the water, grocery store, shops, etc.. The room was eclectically, yet nicely appointed and we felt cared for by the owner/staff. As fun as it was to explore... More

Spent a couple nights here with my gal. Awesome place to stay when visiting Mendocino. The proprietor, Charles is a very friendly, personable guy who makes you feel like you are staying at a relatives home. Great breakfast and, if you time it during the right season, he serves a Abalone dinner on Sundays.....YUM. Thanks for "keeping the community vibe... More

We had a great weekend in Mendocino! The inn was a perfect location for a hiking, biking, beer tasting, wine tasting weekend. The coast was gorgeous this time of year with beautiful wild flowers! The inn was amazing! The best B and B we've ever stayed in. The breakfast was indescribably delicious! And the abalone potluck was so unique. Definitely... More

The Didjeridoo Dreamtime Inn is a special place in many ways! First of all, the location is great -- it is within walking distance of all the local Mendocino shops, cafes, bars, and beach. It is also just a short drive away from other local destinations like Fort Bragg, Glass Sand Beach, the Botanical Gardens, and much more! In addition... More

Just got back from a three night stay at the DDI. Can't begin to say what a wonderful time my husband and I had. Not your "usual" bed and breakfast--and that is EXACTLY what we loved about it. I've never felt so comfortable and welcome at another bnb--and I've been to a few. Charles and his wife Mary really have... More

I'm joking, it was wonderful. These are the hardest reviews to write because when you write glowing comments, EVERYONE wants to stay there. I feel like this place is a the best kept quaint little secret in Mendocino, and if I blow it up with praise, it's going to be packed all the time! Mais c'est la vie, they deserve... More

My husband and I stay in Mendocino quite often. Looking online I choose this Inn for our weekend. We paid for a deluxe room with a fireplace. The "fireplace" was a screen on the wall. Our room was quite bleak with odd fabric window coverings. No maid service at all. The breakfast was laid out on a very small table... More

Hmmm I think you didn't get one of our deluxe rooms just a standard but I'm not sure :( Our yard is not what you say, but it's a drought here and has been for 4 years now so it may not be as vibrant as it's been in past years but still beautiful. Our lobby where breakfast is served... More

I rarely write reviews but felt I had to balance what a very few people have said This hotel was built in 1878 so yes is creaky What else would you expect. The staff were friendly and breakfast was very nice. So much so that my wife insisted on finding out how the bacon was cooked to do at home.... More

This is a sweet Bed and breakfast that is very simple, the rooms were very clean and charming and the breakfast was totally delicious! A great place for artist and eclectic types right in town and across the street from the ocean! We loved this B and B as it felt very homey and cozy, If your the elaborate type... More

For those, who love places with soul and history and home-made breakfasts, truly 19th authentic atmosphere and kindness owner's attitude. Yes, furniture in the rooms are really old, but they keep it in well condition and you can literally feel yourself back in hippie times! I slept on a high like-princesses-had bed, it was so much fun! I also admire... More
