The staff was quite nice, but unfortunately our room was directly above the restaurant. It was quite noisy. Don't plan on peace and quiet.

My wife and I stayed in the Suites. The help was friendly (with the exception of the barkeep who seemed a little surly). The room was spacious, well appointed, and quiet. The included beakfast was wonderful. We had dinner at their restaurant and found it to be overpriced and not terribly good (tarragon chicken was bland and undercooked. Chicken sushi... More

We arrived at sunset, somewhat frazzled by the long ride to Mendocino up 128. Checking in to the MacCullum House was a breeze, and so friendly. The Inn is impeccacably decorated, clean and obviously very well cared for. We were staying at the Suites, located about 1 minute away, in the Majestic Rose Suite. As soon as we pulled in... More

From my initial contact, to the breakfast and checkout, I was utterly impressed with the service. Not snobby - but kind, sharp, and took care of all of our needs with eagerness.

My wife and I have been coming to Mendocino for 28 years and we never grow tired of visiting. This is our second stay at MacCallum House and we could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Our room, the Staff, the food and wine, the grounds, my wife....even a little rain was refreshing.

I took my Mother to the MacCallum House for her 60th Birthday as a special treat. And it was special! The room was beautiful, #32, fabulous view, best most comfortable bed ever!!! The breakfast that came with the stay was marvelous! The town was so quaint and picturesque. It could not have been better. Honestly, we did not want to... More

Mendocino is a beautiful spot, made even more special by the elegance of the MacCallum A beautiful room overlooking the bay and front of the hotel. Very spacious and comfortable. Absolutely perfect. Friendly staff and very helpful. We also enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese in the bar. Quite a nice welcome to the area.

My friend and I recently stayed at MacCallum House. It was my first visit to Mendocino. I loved the area. There are some wonderful walks to be had in the Headlands area. Everything is so close, and the MacCallum House was perfect for our stay. Terrific breakfasts and great wine and cheese in the afternoon. The staff were very friendly... More
