We stayed for one night in early September. We chose a room in the second house located beside a graveyard a block or two up from the main house. From what we saw of both locations we would choose the house by the graveyard. The room was large, had a huge bathroom and a comfy bed and fireplace. Our deck... More

We had a wonderful experience at this B&B in Mendocino. Please ask for the Annex rooms as they were delightful. Big, spacious, modern, with great views or hot tubs. The breakfast was wonderful and the service was excellent. You won't be disappointed with your stay. A very quaint town with some hidden gems of restaurants. Have fun at this B&B!!

We picked our room from photos on their website, but did not find it as attractive as it looked online. The bedroom & sitting area decor was dated, although the bathroom had been remodeled and was lovely. It was wonderful having our own hot tub in the private garden. However, we hadn't realized that our room was in a property... More

This is my 5th or 6th time staying here and I've always been 110% satisfied. The setting is gorgeous and the service is phenomenal - generally we're the kind of people that like to try new places, but this is one place we'll always return. We've stayed at both the inn site on-property as well as the suites (a few... More

It is possible that if you stay at The MacCullum House, the experience would be pleasant; however, we stayed one night in Ocean Song and one night in Jedediah. Ocean Song is run down, old and in desperate need of attention with limited ocean views - nothing like we expected from the pictures. Jedediah, while well appointed after a renovation,... More

My husband & I stayed here for our second anniversary. We had such a great time!! It was our first time to Mendocino & it was very laid back & relaxing. We stayed in room 11 which was beautiful. All the furnishings were a newer pottery barn style which some might not think is very B&B but we loved it.... More

We had dinner there during our stay in Mendocino - family of five, including two adults and three small children. Although I don't think there's a formal dress code, I felt under-dressed in my shorts and t-shirt compared to other diners, and a little conscious of bringing young children into the establishment, verified somewhat by discovering the absence of a... Our stay was two nights (Sunday & Monday) overall The MacCallum House is lovely, the gardens are beautiful. Stay away from room #14. I feel we were miss lead a bit. The room is advertised as private with a jacuzzi tub for two. Well, it has a jacuzzi tub, if it's for two it must be one at a time.... More

This was my first time in Mendocino since I was a child and after researching a bunch of places to stay, I kept coming back to this one because of the historical aspect & charm but also the modern amenities that have been added. There are a couple different buildings on the main property. The main house has 5 guest... More

My family of four had a fantastic stay at The Mac Callum House Hotel. We stayed in a really cool 3 level converted water tower. The kids stayed on the top floor in the queen and we stayed in the very comfortable king on the first floor on the second floor was a luxurious tub with jets and a dry... More
