This was our second time staying at the MacCallum House, and we were very pleased! When we checked in the receptionist greeted us with a hearty "Welcome Back!" very warm and genuine, we had brought our new puppy with us and she gave her a cookie and played with her. When we checked into our room the William Otis Kelly... more

I'd heard wonderful things about the MacCallum house in doing my homework on places to stay in Mendocino and must admit they delivered. The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was amazing. My girlfriend and I stayed in the Jenny Blair suite off the main house and it was clean, quiet, and... more

We have been guests at the MacCallum House on numerous occasions and never dissappointed. Jennifer was a delight at our time of checkout and we loved our room. If we were to have a complaint it would be on the pancakes served at breakfest...they were not only burnt but a very small portion...suggest you either drop them from the breakfest... more

We won a gift certificate in an auction at our children's school. We've been to Mendocino many times before but always stayed at the Headlands Inn (B&B). We stayed at the McCormack Water Tower (off the main property). The MC House website stated it would sleep 4- but there was one single daybed, and 1 queen. We needed a mattress... more

Well, we were married in Mendocino and stayed at MacCallum house for our Honeymoon. To sum it up, it was perfect! The $, the food, the lodging, the staff, all was great. Some of our other guests stayed there also, they loved it to. We have stayed there before, and will stay there again. Just a nice overall location also,... more

You, flat out, cannot beat the MacCallum House in Mendocino for lush and homey accommodations, divine dining, and excellent service. I recommend it highly and have for several years. Run, don't walk, to Mendocino's MacCallum House for a most enjoyable stay. more

this is the second time we have stayed at the maccallum house and suites. both times we have booked the package over LuxuryLink.com so we get a discounted rate on the suite plus $100 towards a meal at the restaurant (the entree's run $25-35 so it won't really cover a three course meal). we travel with our dogs so we... more

The MacCullum house is located right in the village of Mendocino, easy walking distance to the headlands and a quick walk to the "big chair" that looks out to the Pacific ocean. Enjoy a game of croquet on the well manicured lawn. There are pet-friendly rooms available and the staff treats fido with bowls, a bed and treats. The breakfast... more

I can't say enough positive things about MacCallum House. When we arrived, we were offered a free upgrade since the property wasn't full -- and given five sets of keys so that we could take a first-hand look at all the rooms available and choose the one we liked the best! We decided on #14 in the barn and fully... more

I enjoyed the separate spaces of the cottages. They were quiet, cozy and comfy. Walking the compound was easy and it was fun to go visit the others who were there for the weekend. Great limo...the first step was a bit hard for me so they brought me and my sister back in the other car, it was so thoughtful... more
