We stayed for 3 nights in late February before heading up to Lake Tahoe to go skiing. The main house is a stunning Victorian . . the entrance is "picture perfect" with the white picket fence, lovely gardens, and the stairs leading up to the porch and the restaurant. The check-in for the inn is located on the second floor... More

I recently spent a couple of weeks at MacCallum House Inn while shooting a film in the area, and couldn't have had a better stay. My room (#8) was small, but very cute and had an extremely comfy bed. Boy, did I sleep well in that thing! The bathroom was quite large with a separate shower and clawfoot bath tub.... More

I stayed here on a living social deal I believe. It was well worth the price I paid. I probably would pay the actual price since our room was amazing. We had stayed here before in the Suites however I did not enjoy the walk down the hill for breakfast and I did not like having to walk by the... More

This Inn is beautiful and charming with outstanding ambience, mostly antique decor, and fabulous food. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly. You are always treated like a special friend and feel catered to. The grounds are delightful and superbly maintained. The ambience is relaxing and jeans attire is welcome. The included daily breakfast and daily $14 credit for... More

Bought my package thru Travelzoo. Thought I was getting a good deal. Boy was I wrong. When I tried making reservations I could not get a room for two nights in a row. So I knew and so did they that we had to change rooms. When we checked in we had room 30. We were off property in the... More

we bought a online deal and were not warned that our room overlooked a cemetery!!! we stayed in suite 33 and it was a Very eerie place since it was right next to a cemetery. The bathroom window literally overlooks the tombstones (I attached photo here). This might not bother some people, but it definitely bothered us. we didn't come... More

We’ve stayed at the MacCallum House many times over the past 20 years – usually at Christmas – and have been very pleased with the charming accommodations, primarily staying in the various cottages next to the main house. Looking for something larger, this time we selected the MacCallum Suites where we were given the Morning Glory unit, #27, on the... More

My wife, our dog , and I have been going to the MacCallum House for years and just recently spent a couple of days there which we wish we would have spent elsewhere. The MacCallum House has been offering rooms on Groupon and other sites like it during the last few years. As a result, it is often sold out... More

This is the second time I've stayed at MacCallum House and it just gets better every time. The drive to MacCallum is beautiful. Winding road through the wineries and a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean. MacCallum's location is great. A block off Main Street where shops ranging from arts and crafts to toys and bookstore. The Inn is a... More
