We reserved a campsite more than a month in advance by phone with a credit card. We arrived as planned, the attendant took our registration, our name was on the board for the site we would be occupying for two nights, and we put out our tablecloth to ensure sure the site appeared taken. Imagine our surprise to return after dark the second night of our stay to find the attendant had put other campers in our site. There was no way to reach the attendant, or the owners, and the campground was full.
We should also mention that there is only one washroom for the entire campground so there were often line-ups for the toilets. The washrooms were dirty, out of towel paper, and basically grungy. For this the cost is $35 for a tent site.
When I checked my credit card, they had charged us for a night when we weren't even in the area.
