Blackberry Inn is where my boyfriend and I took refuge before and after camping at the three day Sierra Nevada World Music Festival nearby. The Innkeeper is very warm and hospitable. Beautiful grounds and flowers are great! It truly is a sanctuary and very romantic, we will surely be back. more

We had our wedding weekend in Mendocino at the MacCallum House (see other review). This place gave additional options to our guests that couldn't afford the higher priced inns in Mendowcino town. It's only a short 1 min drive into town - so it was no issues for our guests staying there. Also, they were all very happy with the... more

We came up to Mendocino for a romantic getaway. We cannot be more pleased with our stay at the Blackberry Inn. We stayed in the Sherrif's room and it was fabulous. We had a great ocean view from our bathtub, sliding doors and great fire burning. The room and grounds were immaculate. The hotel was a an old western town... more

We were very happy with our experience with this hotel. After enduring rainy weather and a sub par exoerience of the town, curling up in front of the fireplace in our little cottage made everything better. Also, when I forgot my jacket in our room after we had checked out and left. the staff was very helpful and mailed it... more

Ok. I admit... I was turned off just a tiny bit as we drove up to see some very "Disneyland Mainstreet" sorts of repro housing... but the price was good and they take dogs. It ended up being a little gem and we intend to return. Wonderful getaway for us -- and for our little dog. They explained the rules... more

We stayed in the honeymoon suite, Belle's Place. I was a little afraid that the theme would cross the line into tacky/cheesy but was pleasantly surprised when we checked in. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had great amenities. The staff had been extremely helpful when I made my reservations and also helped me find a local restaurant for... more

Situated a mile out of the town of Mendocino, so a short drive (not very walkable as on highway 1). Room was lovely and large with two double beds. Bathroom not so great but ok. Breakfast is just fruit and a small muffin./cookie but snack kept us going til brunch in mendo. more

Our family (2 adults and 2 young children) traveled up the Northern California coast and wanted to visit Mendocino. A lot of the hotels and bed and breakfasts in Mendocino are not friendly to families with young children, or are very expensive, with high charges for rollaway beds and/or small rooms. We saw the Blackberry Inn advertised in the AAA... more

We stayed for one night in the "Schoolhouse" apartment. This is a beautiful unit that is the dream B&B unit. The unit has two big windows, one facing west, one facing south, and two small ones facing east. The big floor length window looks out to a beautiful private garden. In this Sun-filled room, one can read and dream and... more

My wife and I were looking for a place on the west coast to stay and celebrate our 30th anniversary. After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to book our stay at the Blackberry Inn. We called and made our reservation for the Sheriff Office room. The office staff asked if we were going to be there for any... more

The lawn was definitely less than lovely during their stay. Our leach field had to be completely redone...The joys of country living!
