We came up to Mendocino for a romantic getaway. We cannot be more pleased with our stay at the Blackberry Inn. We stayed in the Sherrif's room and it was fabulous. Ok. I admit... I was turned off just a tiny bit as we drove up to see some very "Disneyland Mainstreet" sorts of repro housing... but the price was good and they take dogs. Situated a mile out of the town of Mendocino, so a short drive (not very walkable as on highway 1). Room was lovely and large with two double beds. Bathroom not so great but ok. Breakfast is just fruit and a small muffin./cookie but snack kept us going til brunch in mendo. more
