My husband and I stayed here for memorial weekend and our experience was amazing. This town is a hidden gem (although we suspect not for long) and our room and host were wonderful. The breakfast was different every morning and very tasty. The room was wonderful. We hiked Mt Shasta and the waterfall. Great trip!! Highly recommend!

McCloud is a quiet little town with very nice people. We came for a quiet weekend and that is what we found. My husband and I hiked the falls, which were beautiful. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the White Mountain Cafe, and took in some sights of this beautiful little town. We stayed in the waterfall room at the... More

We had never heard of the town of McCloud until we went to the 3 waterfall trail: http://hikemtshasta.com/mccloud-river-trails/mccloud-river-falls-trail/ On the way back we decided to look for hotels in the area and found this wonderful B&B. Very charming, cozy, beautifully restored, this place is a breath of fresh air, and perfect for a quiet get away. While there are almost... More

For years we have been breaking up our trips to Oregon with tired, run-down motels in Mt. Shasta. We had no idea of the existence the sweet little lumber town of McCloud River, just an exit south of the Mt. Shasta exits. The Inn provides a much more satisfying experience than anything in Mr. Shasta: it's comfortable, well-run, and the... More

The McCloud River Inn was once the headquarters for the McCloud Lumber Company which built the town, lumber mill & railroad. We stayed in the former lumber company president's office called The Map Room on the ground floor. The room is beautifully restored, spacious and inviting. The four poster queen sized bed is very comfy and the microfiber bedding is... More

The Inn is just what we hoped for, a well preserved and appointed B&B on the historic register. After reading another Tripadvisor review that raved about the Map Room, we requested and got that room. The four poster bed was comfortable and had really soft, luxurious sheets. The old wooden floors are charming and the spacious room is nicely decorated... More

We stayed in the waterfall room and it was perfect. The jacuzzi in the room was huge, warm, and so relaxing. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the homemade breakfast in the morning was great. We arrived late and left fairly early so we didn't get to enjoy much time looking around the inn or surrounding area, but I would... More

Great bed, wonderful breakfasts - what more can one ask? Our room, Switchboard, was large, well furnished, and comfortable. With rain and snow, we stayed inside a lot and the excellent hosts provided hot water for tea all day long. The large house was once the headquarters for the lumber company that owned the town and there's lots of history... More

This place was beautiful! We stayed in the Waterfall Room and it looked exactly like the pictures online. It was spotless and the jacuzzi was a nice treat to come back to after dinner.....we could hardly drag ourselves out of it (lol) but finally did and right into one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. The... More

We arrived the morning after the first snow fall. Absolutely beautiful!!! The perfect place to get away from the rat race. The breakfast was excellent and filling. Loved the hospitality. Will be going back very soon!!
