We have stayed here several times while visiting family that are local. This is a spacious comfortable and very clean B & B. I had never really stayed at a B & B before this and it has opened my eyes to the enjoyment a traveler has when doing so. The hosts Robert and Nancy are absolutely fantastic. They go... More

While I rate this a 3 and not a 4, we had a very pleasant stay and I have a lot of positive memories. This is a very old, historic inn that was completely gutted and remodeled in the mid 1990s. The fact that we were able to stay in this historic building was really nice. The lobby was beautiful... More

This was my second stay at the McCloud Hotel. It's a great place. When I read that it was a B&B, I thought: bathroom down the hall and a lot of contrived quaintness. It was none of that. The room was large and nice, with its own bathroom. Breakfast was very good as was the dinner that night at the... More

We loved our little getaway in McCloud, just a short distance from Mt. Shasta. The room was quaint, large, clean and quiet. Loved the complimentary breakfast each morning, prepared and served by the owners. So friendly and personal! We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed two nights in a double queen (the only one) on the second floor overlooking the back garden. Pricing was reasonable. The room itself was very large and very comfortable. Beds were good. The bathroom had both a tub and shower (if you stay in this room watch out getting into and out of the shower which has a... More

This was our first B&B experience and it didn't disappoint. I will say that the room we stayed in looked a bit different from the picture online -- the floor and walls were totally different. So I would recommend updating the pictures to what the rooms actually look like now. That said, the room was still charming. The owners were... More

This hotel has always intrigued me, so it was time to book a stay. I was very pleased - spacious room, quiet (even though it faced Main Street), beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable, with little touches to add to a pleasant stay. Even though the hotel was built in 1915, the rooms are up to date and have all the... More

We just spent two wonderful nights here, and as luck would have it, McCloud was celebrating their annual Mushroom Festival. While the latter was quaint, yet also surprisingly informative, the care we received from Nancy and Robert at the Hotel was first rate: fine food, with a careful attention to what they can do well. The rooms appear to be... More

McCloud Hotel and Bed and Breakfast had been recommended to us by a friend. We decided to try it and were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is wonderfully quaint, well decorated and very clean. We had a delicious dinner there and a great breakfast. We are definitely planning to go back.

This little town has been diminished by the loss of the lumber mill, and all that remains are the B & B's and a few shops. But the clarity of the air, the lovely scenery make the visit worthwhile. The Hotel is a grand reminder of the good old days in McCloud. The rooms are tasteful done, sheets are high... More
