My husband and I drove through McCloud on our trip home and stopped here for the night. It was a great stay. Their friendly Labrador Retriever greets you upon arrival and they quickly showed me to our lovely, beautifully restored room. We ate at the hotel for dinner and we were so glad that we did... it was a delicious... More

Just stayed last night and we were very pleased with the stay! The bed was comfortable, the room was nice and clean, and the decor was tasteful. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning. Nancy was very sweet! We had a very delicious breakfast and we wished we would have been able to have dinner! We will be back... More

Found this place through a quick search on the internet while traveling through the area. Liked the easy to navigate website. Stayed in a room with a spa tub. Very clean, romantic and spacious. Owners were friendly, knowledgeable and fun to talk to. Dinner was extra but well worth it. Breakfast, included, was just as delicious. Many things were made... More

The hotel is decorated for Christmas right now. Beautiful historic building. Variety of rooms ranging from relatively basic to very large rooms with spa tubs. Nicely decorated. Friendly owner. A glass of wine and hors d'oeuvre given around 4:00 in the afternoon is conducive to sitting in front of the fire, playing scrabble or Chinese checkers and chatting with other... More

We spent a lovely Thanksgiving weekend at the McCloud Hotel. We had stayed here one night this summer and were so impressed that we booked for Thanksgiving, our first time not at home. We were made to feel at home by the graciousness of our hosts Nancy and Robert. The dinners and breakfasts were outstanding. It's a few minutes drive... More

McCloud is a small, historic town close to Mt. Shasta and a great place to stay when visiting magnificent Mt. Shasta. The hotel is well located for the area and beautifully restored. The rooms are uniquely decorated and the lobby very welcoming. The owners are a delight; we so enjoyed their company over big delicious breakfasts - included - and... More

It's frankly been a while since a friend and I stayed one night in route to the PNW. We'd been driving all day from Gardnerville, NV, not in a rush, but taking the backroads as usual to enjoy the scenery. Neither of us had been to McCloud so near dusk we drove around and found this charming old hotel. The... More

This is a nice old hotel, although I think the price is a bit high frankly. Overall though, the rooms were spacious and comfortable enough. My room downstairs did get a lot of noise from the lobby and breakfast room, so I would recommend an upstairs room. Good location for exploring the McCloud area.

This hotel, situated in an historic building, reflects the charm of McCloud and peaceful experience of the surrounding forest. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We regretted having only a one night stay. The breakfast was fantastic and healthy. The owners are attentive and friendly, and made us feel quite welcome. We would definitely stay at the... More

My Dad and his wife have stayed here many times and for years I've been hearing about the Hotel and how much they enjoy it. When my Dad heard we were passing through the area on our way to visit them he offered to put us up there for a night. Naturally we accepted his offer and what a pleasure... More
