Didn't stay here, just came for dinner in the bar. Food was excellent and the service outstanding. Cute place.

Comfortable, no frills rooms with nice bathrooms. Rooms are on the small side but have everything we needed for a simple stay. We came to Markleeville to ride our bikes and just needed somewhere to sleep - the Creekside was perfect. The lodging is not staffed full time but the owner was very friendly and helpful.

Clean and comfortable rooms with an updated mountain decor. Rates are reasonable, pets are allowed, check-in was smooth and efficient. Ice machine, hot and cold water machine, coffee, tea and hot chocolate available in the breezeway. The Wolf Creek restaurant next door had wonderful meals at reasonable prices. We didn't expect to find such a nice, comfortable motel in rustic Markleeville. Nicely decorated, clean and homey. Check-in was friendly and competent, a hair dryer was provided immediately when asked for. Dinner and Breakfast in the adjoining restaurant were tasty. We got a good night's sleep at a good price
