Great location, 45 minutes from the Arch Rock Entrance of Yosemite, and Mariposa is a nice town to visit with many restaurant choices. My husband and I stayed one night before visiting the park. We had a Deluxe King Room -- it had a in-room spa, which would have required far too much water to use, hopefully they are on... More

We used Miners Inn on a trip to Yosemite and were very happy. It is about 50 minutes from the park and with that in mind, is reasonably priced. It is not a chain and doesn't resemble one at all. Our rooms each had a living area with pull out couch, fridge, full-sized coffee pot, a bath with whirlpool, and... More

I was a little apprehensive about this place but chose it for its location. I booked two nights to give us a full day in Yosemite, which is about an hour's drive away. The motel is on the main highway and, if you prefer not to drive, there is a regular bus service to Yosemite from a stop close-by. Mariposa's... More

The room was simple and dated but, clean and functional. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and recommended a place we could get dinner late in the evening as it was. Breakfast in the am was simple yet filling. Overall no complaints and we'd recommend if you are passing through!

We stayed at the Miners Inn for two nights when we were visiting Yosemite. If all the lodges in the park are booked, Mariposa village is a good option, especially if you appreciate a variety of dinner places to choose from. The room was a bit worn but large and had nice jet stream tub as well as a balcony... More

There was virtually no wifi. Even if you get a signal, the connection was extrenely slow and unreliable. The hotel has two wifi signals but I think the access points cancel each other out. The room was spacious but the carpet was heavily stained. The hotel is conveniently located off of Hwy140. It's about 80 minutes from Yosemite entrance and... More

Friendly staff, clean, and reasonably priced. At the far end of town and was quiet and peaceful. They have free breakfast in the lobby from 6-9 a.m., coffee 24 hours, and the lobby doubles as a gift shop. Very close to a large supermarket. Would stay here again.

Only an hour away from Yosemite entrance, this was a great location. The breakfast was a wonderful start to the day and quite hearty with waffles, pancakes, fruit, donuts, yogurt, cereal and more. Friendly, helpful staff also gave tips and recommendations. Mariposa is a quaint old miners town and while we didn't get to see the museum in town would've... More

Overall a very nice place. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms with a small balcony. Yes, they are older. Big beds. Quiet. Breakfast was better than at most motels! Easy to find, along the main road in Mariposa. Will come back!

I liked this place, it had everything we needed, and it wasn't too pricey. Breakfast was good. Pool and spa on premises were a nice touch. We stayed here when visiting Yosemite, and it was a bit far, about 1 hour or so. However, everything Yosemite related will be kind of far. Wifi was way too weak to do anything.
