Shared a spacious 2 queen size room with our two kids. Rooms okay and clean, small balcony. Check in easy, service staff pragmatic and a little rough but nice ( as expected in the region). The small pool is a nice retreat after a trip through the park. Centre of mariposa in walking distance.

We were on a road trip. One of our stays was at 'miners inn'. We had an exhausting day, some really bad problems with our rental car and we were super tired when we arrived at miners inn. The man at the front desk felt sorry for us bcs of our story and gave us an update for our room.... More

We stayed one night in June 2014 en route to the Yosemite Park. We were a family of four adults. Check in was a bit long apparently due to the computer system. We were given a room in the main building. This comprised a large bedroom (two beds) with a sitting area, there was direct access to the outside via... More

The room was clean, with comfortable beds and clean linen but the bath was a bit cramped and fittings dated. It served our purpose as we had little choice since accommodation in the park was full ... it is also a full hours drive to the park. Breakfast options were ok but came with thick crowds (unless you came early... More

We stayed here because hotels in the park were fully booked. The room was ok, clean, but in need of modernisation. Wifi was not working, the receptionist sounded like it had broken just on that day but I have now seen reviews from two weeks before reporting the same problem. Breakfast was not an option - we gave up and... More

Place was average. Beds can probably use a refresh as it sank a little. Breakfast was regular continental. Pool area really nice with views. Value is decent for being outside the valley area. Location was very good.

We came out of Yosemite and were pleased to find such a decent hotel as we reached Mariposa. It was pricey, but that seems to be true of anywhere within an hour or so's drive of the Park. Our room was very adequate, and quiet. It was in the far block - but the hotel is in a quiet area,... More

We stayed here on our way to Yosemite. It was a 45 minute ride to the Park, which was a bit more than we had expected. The room was ok, but had a really worn feeling. The wifi didn't work. They said it would work by the pool, but it didn't In the middle of the night we woke up... More

I'll follow the prevailing viewpoints. The good Close to town and convent to Yosemite who've is a good hour away. Pleasant and helpful staff. Clean room The not so good Paper thin walks and I could hear multiple other rooms people talking and kids crying even toilets flushing. Plastic under sheets?! ANSI had to pull the bed away from the... More

Mariposa is at the gateway to Yosemite, so I imagine that most people who stay here on their way either to or from the national park. We stayed here on our way to the park and found it to be clean and adequate for a night's stay. There was a pool and hot tub. Both were clean and pretty quiet.... More
