We stayed here overnight on the way to Yosemite. The rooms were clean & nice. The outdoor pool was a great way to end a long day of traveling. The continental breakfast was sufficient & included a waffle maker. The only thing we did not like was hiking up 3-floors to our room. If you stay here, request a room... more
We spent 2 nights at the Comfort Inn in Mariposa to go to Yosemite. We had a fairly comfortable room, though it was getting a bit faded. The bathtub needed resurfacing having peeled off most of the coat and in my brother's room, the tub took a long while to drain. The air conditioner in my room quit on the... more
The hotel is 90 minutes from Yosemite Valley in Mariposa. It’s set back from the main street thus the street noise was minimal. Staffs were very friendly and efficient. It’s a comfortable place and a typical Comfort Inn. The king size bed sank in on one side and it was easily roll the edge of the bed. The AC is... more
This seems to be a popular place with visitors to Yosemite national park, particularly since accommodation inside the park is so hard to get. It's a good one hour drive from the valley along Merced river on Rte. 140. Rooms are well maintained, free wireless internet inside the room, decent breakfast to get an early start on the next day.... more
Hotels close to Yosemite seem a little few & far between. As a result, the prices seem to be a little escalated. This wasn't the cheapest hotel in my two week trek around the State but it was a decent clean and comfortable hotel so I can't complain much. Friendly reception staff. On requesting a suitable dining location they recommend... more
The hotel is about 45 minutes from Yosemite Valley and maybe a half hour from the south entrance to Yosemite. The town is small but quite nice. Typical Comfort Inn. The room was nothing special but it was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Free breakfast was decent; waffles were pretty good. Only negative was a very low shower head.... more
We stayed here for one night. Rooms are small but clean. Front desk staff very nice and helpful. If you are looking for a 5 star don't stay here. more
We stayed there for one night to visit the Yosemite Park the next day. The Park is a 45 minute drive away from the Park entrance. We booked the Hotel over my company website to get some special rates. We got a queen size bed in a very smal room. I think because of the low rates we paied. The... more
We stay at Comfort Inns if we haven't booked a-head of time and need a place to stay. This one we booked because it was the closest hotel left to Yosemite. We were placed in an outbuilding that had been converted into four rooms. Didn't like it at all. The door to the bathroom was about two foot wide, with... more
