My Name is Chris M & my friends and I arrived at the ranch and were immediately greeted by the owner Bronz and shown to our cabin. He gave us a quick tour and rundown of the cabin then I hopped in his ATV to head up the hill to grab another ATV for us to use. After an awesome... More

Memorable stay at the Bison Creek Ranch, it really feels like you have gone back in time. Don't be expecting luxury,, it is a little grubby but it has an authentic ranch feel, strangely has great wi-fi. We made a campfire and enjoyed watching the stars and toasting marshmallows. We came from overseas, owner doesn't take credit cards, so a... More

I went to the ranch for my birthday this June with some friends, and this place is the greatest. A great escape from the city, totally off the grid, total freedom of exploration on a vast property, and my personal fav, a clear night sky full of stars. If you are looking to get back to nature, escape the everyday... More

The owner Bronnz, allowed 8 guests without raising the price.Forever views and only a handful of guests on miles of property. The ATV usage was generous. I have rented these before and couldn't believe the lack of time restrictions at this place. Unheard of. I drove about 6 hours a day through the best off road trails. It looked like... More

The ranch is agri-tourism, not a hotel motel or holiday inn, with the drought there can be some dust. Life is simple people make it complicated. On the ranch the wonders of nature and the beauty in scenery is what some city folks take for granted the most! Being unplugged from the internet and the dirty "ratrace" is why most... More

My husband and I booked a 4 bedroom cabin at Bison Creek Ranch. We thought that the property had power, gas & electric; satellite TV and wifi...and 4 bedrooms. We arrived to find what would normally be considered a one bedroom (if the bedroom is required to have a door on it!); another area the owner classed as a bedroom... More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in early May, 2015. We chose it as a jumping off point for a visit to southern Yosemite National Park. It was a poor choice as one wastes more than an hour traveling from BCR to the park, and there are motels and hotels much nearer. The only reason to stay... More

First off, this place is not for everybody. If you are a fan of resorts that have golf courses and spas-you need to look elsewhere. If you are looking for an incredible place to spend personal time with your family or close friends, this is it. The place is definitely rough around the edges but if you are outdoorsy but... More

We stayed a couple of nights on the ranch and loved it. Bronz and Sabrina were great, very accommodating, and always available (they live at the far end of the ranch). They gave us tips on what to do and see on the ranch. Bronz took us around to see the old gold mine so we could find it to... More
