Our family stayed for two nights while we visited Yosemite. This is a motel type property where you enter from the parking lot. This was convenient to loading and unloading the van! It is an older property with a real key for the door, but the room was perfect for us. It was over 100 degrees when we were there... More

We stayed here two nights. Nice, clean, comfortable room with fridge and micro! Tour van picked us up and returned us to the hotel. Hotel is older variety with outside door, and could be a bit more soundproof, but was not bad. Not as many amenities as newer hotels (free breakfast, coffee in lobby, etc.). However, we were there to... More

We stayed two nights as part of a California road trip. We arrived hot and tired after a long drive from Sonoma Valley via some gold rush towns. It was still around 95 degrees at 7:30 when we arrived but our room quickly cooled down when we put the air cooler on. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom standard... More

My son and I took a short road trip to Yosemite NP for a couple of days. I picked this place off of a hotel site, because my son told me to look for something South and West of the park. The Mariposa was what I picked, and it proved to be a good choice. It was comfortable and had... More

We were going to stay in Mariposa for three nights because the highway through Yosemite had snow on it. The highway was opened after our first night's stay so I asked to cancel our last night because I wanted to get through the park and show my wife what was on the other side. It all turned out well and... More

Very quaint (but clean) hotel, centrally located, within walking distance to everything you could possibly need. Staff were very friendly and offered great advice on Yosemite for novices. Will definitely stay here again!

This is a well maintained hotel just outside of the western entrance to Yosemite. The room was very nice, clean and updated. Cute, rustic town. There is a hot tub and small pool. Seems to be run by a young family. Nice stay.

This motel is in a very good location with free parking, mariposa is definately somewhere I would live to visit again. However the room is very dated and the bathroom was certainly in need of an upgrade. As an asthmatic I found the room a bit too dusty/musty for a comfortable night sleep. The matress was very soft for me... More

The hotel is well situated between Yosemite and San Francisco. Rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel provides the basic needs and is a good value for money. There is not a lot to do in Mariposa, but is you just pass by the place on a trip I can recommend this hotel for a one night stay.

I think my title says it all. Very happy with this affordable place to stay on the edge of Yosemite (about 1 hour 15 mins to Yosemite Village). Mariposa is extremely cute and very friendly. An unexpected surprise on our road trip. The room was clean, spacious with very comfy beds. Bathroom was perhaps slightly dated but still clean and... More
