We enjoyed our stay at the Mariposa Lodge. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the service was good. It was about a 30 minute drive from the park which made it a great location. We would stay there again.

Quaint, clean, big king sized room. Great location although out of the park. Was the perfect choice for us. Friendly check in staff willing to assist at any time. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the small pool and hot tub especially after a long day of being at Yosemite. Would stay again. The stay recommended two restaurants in the area, Savory's... More

We stayed only one night and it was OK. The room was large, clean, and had everything we needed. Earlier in the week, I had written twice to know whether we could drop our luggage around lunchtime, but no one replied. But once there, we stopped anyway and were able to leave our bags in the front lobby instead of... More

This hotel provided us with our gateway to Yosemite. Our room was large, comfortable, and clean. The location is good. Restaurants and shopping all available near by. Staff was friendly. Less than an hour drive to Yosemite. Wifi was free and worked well. Tea and coffee are available in the room.

It's located in a village where you can find a little bit of everything (restaurants, supermarket, post office...) located about one hour driving to Yosemite Park. The room is clean but they provide you few amenities and few coffee and tea facilities. The reception desk was very kind to allow us for an early check in, overall it's a nice... More

My friend and I booked 2 nights at Mariposa Lodge in order to spend a bit of time in Yosemite, which is about an hour away. Mariposa is quite small, if there's a thousand people there I'll eat my hat, but the whole town is full of kitchy boutiques and restaurants and everything is pretty much centrally located. Prompt service,... More

Reasonably nice older motel in the heart of Mariposa. Check-in was easy but they did not seem particularly friendly. Room seemed clean, not so sure about the carpet. Bathroom door was mis-hung and would not stay open. Parking spots were very narrow. No breakfast. Still around an hour to Yosemite, a little far for me. Not sure I'd stay again.

I took my mother on a bucket list trip for her 82 birthday (she had a stroke last year and is not as strong and agagil as she used to be). She wanted to see Yosemite again, she had been when she was 9 years old and it was a favorite memory. I booked two nights. We arrived after driving... More

The room was clean, the shower and towels were good. The room was large, so large that the TV was too small to be that far from the bed. The parking is very tight if the motel is full. Perhaps this is a good value for its proximity to the park which might explain the abundance of stars. The reading... More
