My husband and I were in Mariposa for a reunion . We had a friend with us also and were able to find a unit with two bedrooms at this motel. We found the unit unsatisfactory. It had missing tiles on the bathroom counter, the tiniest bathroom with no towel bars, no clothes bars in the closets and was very... More

I keep wishing that TripAdvisor had a "Good" rating - they force you to choose between "Average" and "Very Good" which annoying. Anyway, this place has large comfy beds and great linens for a hotel. The staff is courteous and the place is a step from your normal lodge/motel. We just stayed one night, but it is about 45 minutes... More

Mariposa Inn is very close to Yosemite National Park therefore a good place to stay. It is also close to restaurants, bars and cafés. Some excellent restaurants. Rooms are clean and tidy but washing facilities are inside room which can be difficult if sharing. The staff at reception are a bit hit and miss. Nice motel but not one of... More

The Mariposa Lodge is around a 30 minute drive from Yosemite National Park. The room we stayed in was dated and very shabby, it was mostly clean except for some mould in the bathroom and shower. The air con is a noisy, old window unit which works ok but is a bit disturbing at night. Wifi had just been fixed... More

Very pleasant motel. Nice landscaping makes the place very appealing. Rooms are spacious with nice tiled shower. The beds and pillows are the best part. Very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Great location. I will stay here every time I visit the area.

I wanted to give four stars and then I read the other reviews. Almost EVERYONE has been complaining about the lousy Wi-Fi since 2013 and now I'm in my room in mid 2014 and the Wi-Fi is terrible. We wanted to plan our trails in Yosemite and we can't even open a webpage. Even apps on the mobile phone are... More

Older hotel but well kept and clean. Rooms were comfortable, and the location is great- an easy walk to restaurants and tourist shopping in town. The front desk was helpful with dinner recommendations and such. One tip- one of the folding luggage racks was right next to the TV credenza. Watch your head....

My teenage daughter and I stayed here this past weekend for one night - it was a last-minute trip to Yosemite from a San Francisco vacation, and the lodges in the park were full. I was a bit worried from the outside, but really the room was super nice - extremely large, comfortable beds & nice sheets/bedding, refrigerator, clean room,... More

We had a family of five and had the pleasure of staying in a renovated house located at the back side of the hotel. The house face a quiet street that was still close to the main street. The house was clean and had three bedrooms a front room and full kitchen so we all had a nice room to... More

we stayed a couple of nights as we wanted to visit Yosemite and couldn't get any lodges inside the park. For that purpose, the location was great, approx 1 hour drive into Yosemite valley (and its a beautiful drive on a curvy mountain road). Mariposa village was quite a pleasant surprise for us as there are a few restaurants and... More
