It is a small town with beautiful artifacts. It has narrow lanes. It even has subway.lol. There is this pizza restaurant which is amazing. I ate 4 slices. The weather is pleasant and the people are also very friendly. Coming to the lodge it is a basic lodge. It has 2 beads and 1 tv which is the best part.... More

Stayed here for 1 night on the way from Napa to Yosemite - checked in quite late - rooms very clean and comfortable. Free, Secure parking - Restaurants and supermarket nearby. Perfect choice for a pitstop before a day exploring Yosemite and Mariposa Grove

Thankfully found the Mariposa Lodge after a long drive. The place was very clean, very quiet and convenient to everything in Mariposa. Stormy at the front desk is lovely and all the ladies that work there as well. They were very welcoming to me and my beloved pooch. The town of Mariposa is sweet. All the locals are kind and... We stayed here for 1 night only but loved the place. Our room was of appropriate size for the 2 of us and was clean. The service was great and the lodge has some great restaurants nearby. Wifi connection was not the greatest but we were not really interesting in browsing as ours was a pleasure trip.

This was our first trip to Yosemite and I am glad we stayed in Mariposa. The town is lovely and there are some great restaurants (and gas is quite a bit cheaper than closer to the park), and the lodge was very affordable, spotless , and comfortable. The only thing that could have been improved on is that the door... More

Mariposa is the nearest small town to Yosemite National Park - about 35 miles away. It is a good place to stay if you are not camping in the park or don't wish to pay the rather high prices charged by the in-park hotels. The Mariposa Lodge is one of the best lodging choices in the town. It is an... More

Front desk Anne was helpful and efficient when it came to check in and recommending places to eat. The beds were really comfortable and plenty of hot water too. I loved the gardens and the whole feel of the property like you're at home, will definitely stay again and I forgot to mention they had the best rates in town... More

Our room felt very cold when we arrived, even though it was a warm day. It felt as though it hadn't been used for a while. However, we put the heater on and it soon warmed up. The bed was comfortable with nice pillows. The bathroom was large, but the taps were difficult to turn on. We felt that the... More

My partner and I stayed at the Mariposa Lodge one night on our way to Yosemite last weekend. The room was a bit outdated but incredibly clean and warm. It is in a good location in the centre of the main street and you can walk to restaurants if needed. The walls are quite thin so we could hear the... More

We were most pleased with our room, very large with lots of counter space, which is a definite plus for me. It has a good size refrigerator with freezer. The bed was quite comfortable with lots of pillows also was very quiet. The wifi was very fast with no drop outs. The staff at check in was very pleasant and... More
