The lady at the check-in would refuse to transfer a simple call to the room stating she was busy and to call back later... Nave had this happen in my life. She stated that she was busy and didn't want to transfer me.

This hotel overlooks the vast marina at Del Ray. Spring for the harborside view. Close to LAX, but within walking distance of Venice Beach. Although it is probably a fifties hotel, they have made the effort to be an affordable stay and have kept it clean and comfortable.
