This is a nice hotel in a good location, in walking distance to many restaurants and Venice Beach. The rooms are comfortable and clean but by no means lavish. The lobby restaurant serves good food but lacks variety. The pool is like a postage stamp. The fitness facility is meager. This is not the hotel if you have any business... more

This is probably the 4th or 5th time that we have stayed here and it gets better every time. I have actually written at least one other review of this hotel in years past. We were here for 2 nights. Great room on the 9th with view of Santa Monica and the coastline. You must go to the 9th floor... more

My husband, seven year old son and spent Memorial Day weekend at this property. It is a very nice hotel in a great location. You are across from the marina and a small beach and park area and it is about a four block walk to Venice Beach and the pier. There are a number of restaurants within an easy... more

My husband and I stayed here one night for his birthday. The staff was very friendly and the room was great!. We were on the 9th floor and had a view of the Marina and Pacific Ocean. We were really surprised at how clean and nice the room was and would recommend the hotel. We parked across the street for... more

I stayed here for one night while on a business trip. Normally I stay at the Ritz Carleton just down the street but it was full. Anyway, the Ritz has been showing its age recently and I wanted to try another hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised by the lobby and room; both were modern and well appointed. I didn't... more

We got our room for only $100/nt through Priceline. Considering the great location and how nice the hotel was, we got a great deal. They also upgraded our room since it was our anniversary. Our room was spacious and very clean. I don't know why some reviews talked about the rooms being outdated, the furnishings looked up to date. The... more

Stayed four nights to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The rooms were clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The service was excellent. Car rental available at the hotel. Bikes available for guest at no charge. Had a blast! Already planning on going back when it's warmer. This Marriott is by far one of the best we've stayed at. more

We got this hotel trough a priceline for $100 + tax, which is a good deal for the weekend stay. We stayed in room 922, which is on the 9th floor overlooking the marina. The view was outstanding. The room had a small balcony. Bad was very comfortable with down blanket and pillows. Location is very good and within walking... more

I pricelined this hotel for $108/night on a friday and saturday. It was beautiful and right on the water. We walked down the boardwalk and ate at some local restaurants. My advice, the valet costs $30/night, but you can park across the street for $3/day. It's amazing. I would definitely stay there again. The fitness room was nice and Glow... more

Due to the booking agent, we will never deal with a Marriott Hotel, especially the one in Marina Del Rey. We also recently stayed in the Newport Beach Marriot, which prompted us to book the Marina Del Rey Marriott. In Newport Beach we actually felt cared for, in Marina Del Rey we didnt stay because of the horrible customer service... more
