We visit Monterey frequently we enjoy the area not to mention the aquarium. We live 2 hours away so we visit once a month for a day trip (we are members of the aquarium). Once in awhile we stay for 2 or 3 days. We have stayed at 4 different hotels prior to this and have been happy with only... more

We booked our room on expedia and the room advertised having a "in-room jacuzzi" but we went up to the room and saw the "jacuzzi" it was half the size of my home bathtub with two tiny jets. Pathetic attempt for a "jacuzzi". When we went down to ask for a refund due to false advertising, the front desk was... more

Brand spanking new with everything shiny, clean, and new. Rate was excellent, service great. We woke up late and missed breakfast which means the place was quiet. Good place to stay with families. Away from the freeway but off a main room (down a ways) and easy to find. We will go back soon. I felt my kids and I... more

This was our second stay at this property. The first was OK, because we were on the quiet backside of the bldg. This was by accident, since they did not give us our originally requested room. On our second stay we, were in a room facing the road and the traffic noise was ongoing through the night. We also had... more

We were there for only 1 night as we were traveling through the area. This hotel is very clean and newly built with decent size rooms. It is not the place for those seeking an experience. For sleeping accomodations it is very good. The hotel definitely lacks a reliable and professional front desk agent (at least at night). The employee... more

We have stayed at this Ramada several times this year while visiting our new grandbaby. We have yet to receive a room on the "quiet" side (away from Reservation Road), although we request it each time. We too had trouble with the loud and frigid air system. BUT, the room is large, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast is fine. The... more

The room was clean and spacious, if a bit sparsely furnished and decorated. There was a noisy air conditioner that threw a frigid draft across the entire room. There were only 2 speeds - REALLY LOUD and off. If it wasn't for this deal breaker, this would be a good hotel. more

We stayed 2 n ights in this hotel selected because of its location off Monterey, and an attractive senior price offered. The Hotel location is rather good, not too far from Monterey, easy to find. The room was rather clean, large and convenient. Our stay would have been OK if any acceptable service provided. BUT our previous request for a... more

Previous reviews very accurate. Huge room, clean and comfortable.Pretty soulless place, but very comfortable. Staff polite but disinterested. Very easy to find, and Italian restaurant opposite excellent, although expensive. Room huge and bathroom lovely and clean. We could hear TV next door, but fortunately not for long! Breakfast help yourself and the strangest eggs I've ever seen! Oval and flat,... more

I read all the reviews on Tripadvisor before booking all my hotels on a family trip up the coast of California. Most of the reviews seemed positive on the Ramada Marina, so I booked. Now looking again at the reviews I have to chuckle. The hotel itself is nice, well kept, etc. But I did notice a few disgruntled customer... more
