This motel has been remodeled and was clean, nice, everything worked, fast internet, easy to get on. Good size room. Nice pool. Shell gas across the street for snacks and drinks. Friendly and efficient help at the desk

Considering that this is the only hotel in Maricopa, it wasn't too bad as long as you're not expecting too much. I stayed here on business for five days. The office offers free coffee in the morning, but if you have to leave before 7am, you won't get any. The rooms were average. They were clean and fairly spacious. There... More

I have stayed here several times over the past 10 years. It is a quiet, clean place in the tiny town of Maricopa. It is close to Carrizo Plain National Monument, the Bitter Creek and Wild Wolves nature preserves, and the Los Padres National Forest. The pool is very inviting. I love staying here and catching up with the very... More

Another place I do not understand the negative reviews. Its clean, rooms are big, and the bed was great. My wife loved the little pool. Flatscreen tv, refrig, microwave. Nearly full but still pretty quiet. $45 on booking.com . Not much in Maricopa but its an 8 mile drive to Taft. A little of everything there including a great Art... More

We found it clean, well-maintained, quiet & perfectly comfortable 1/12 and last year when we stayed 2/11. Room had microwave, refrig & firm bed & cost $45 ("standard rate"). 8 smoking rooms are well separated from 32 non-smoking rooms. Suggest you eat in Taft tho (Original Hacienda Grill = great) unless you want convenience store food - but this motel... More

Stayed one night in a non-smokling king room during a leisure trip last week. We traveled from Solvang near the coast, over the mountains on our way back to the SF bay area. This is the only hotel in town and is pretty old and worn down. It appeared clean although there were a couple stains on the carpet from... More

We stayed here for one night recently as a shower/cleanup break after camping in the Carrizo Plain. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was simple but everything was clean and worked well, and the high-speed internet had a good strong signal. Basically, there is very little to choose from in tiny Maricopa, but if you need a... More

Had to stay here for work because there are no other choices. Maricopa a "dead" village. Nothing to do. Motel was cheap. Room had basic furnishings all be it mismatched. Bed was soft and worn. Plush carpets were scary. Bath room was clean for a cheap motel. Desk clerk was friendly. I would not stay again if there was a... More
