Never having stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before we were unsure as to what to expect however the Tripadvisor reviews were so good that we decided to give it a go on our way from Yosemite to San Francisco. This was a great room for the price ($117), BUT...I would never stay here again. Why? The air conditioner was an "under the window unit" and is on a wall thermostat so when it went off...it went off completely...and when it when on it went to full bore in seconds. Our stay here was superb. The room was spacious, housekeeping did a great job. Interior corridors are a blessing for quietness.
