Compared to other Residence Inns, this one is ok but.... It's an older property which has been remodeled, but still, does not have the same quality and attention to comfy details you get in a newer property. The people working here are friendly and helpful. Pros Relatively clean, spacious units Comfy pillows Individually-controlled heat/AC Nice, well-stocked kitchen Fireplace Hot, free... More

We enjoyed staying here. The rooms are a little dated but the size was generous and the location was great for us. It's an easy walk to the beach. The breakfast buffet was great. Main problem is parking. There should be an allocated space for each room. Insulation between upstairs / downstairs rooms could be better. We could hear footsteps... More

We had a two bedroom loft suite and were very happy with our choice. The suite offers enough space and privacy for two couples, has a kitchen with everything you may need to prepare meals. Breakfast is included and okay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is close enough to the airport to get there quickly but still far enough... More

We stayed here for a week with 3 adults and two small children. We arrived around noon and had a napping 3 year old. The room was not ready so the front desk took our cell # and would call when the room was ready in an hour or less. After over and hour nobody called so we called them... More

Even thought the hotel is a longish walk or short drive from the Manhattan Beach pier, there are frankly very few spots where it could have been built much closer. The hotel is on Highway 1/Sepulveda Blvd., which is busy during rush hour but empty or reasonable the rest of the time. The rooms are well set back from the... More

As title says part 2 of my Cali trip choose this hotel because I love the Marriott brand. Never stayed in a Residence Inn but was just as nice as I expected. Hotel was about 1 mile from Hermosa Beach which was very great. Only thing negative is there is no don't disturb sign which you would think why is... More

toilet is very dirty! gross! No body lotion provided, toliet paper and towels are at a very poor quality and the fan is very lound in the bathroom. The phone is static. No hot water to make tea in the lobby and hot coffee is always running out. However the staff is nice except for the manage and an African... More

Not a bad place. Rooms on the inside are much nicer than the place looks overall from the outside. Friendly staff, great breakfast included daily. Stayed with another couple and had a two bedroom unit. Very clean and very well equipped with kitchen, stove, fridge, etc. Great value for the place as well. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed 2 nights at the Residence Inn in Manhattan Beach before a cruise in early May. The hotel, generally, is average for this type of property. Meant for longer stays but good for families with big rooms, kitchens and free parking. The entire property seems like a former small apartment complex that had been converted to a hotel/motel. The... More

Hello Foxymustang, Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to share your experience. I am extremely sorry that your initial room was not up to standard. Since we are in a park like setting it looks like a bird found it's way in through one of your entries. We do routine maintenance on all rooms here and... More

Came in from the East Coast after flying all day. Pros: Amazing staff. Very friendly right from the get go. My favorite part of this stay, was the evening social they had right when we got in. That night there was free Chinese food and alcohol, quite a surprise for a wary traveler. They even had karaoke by the pool!... More
