We stayed here for the eve before heading home early the next day. We found this basic motel really great. Immacutely clean, family owned with wonderful service, very comfortable beds and actually one of the best sleeps on our weeks holiday. For an affordable stay that is 5mins from Manhatten beach, it ticks all the boxes

First of all, the staff is nice and helpful. The location of the motel is good. 10 minutes walk to Manhattan Beach Pier with restaurants and cafes. You are right on PCH and close to freeways so it's a great "start from" place. They only had one room left so we took it. It was a good size room. Bathroom... More

Way overpriced for what is basically a motel room but nice enough. Bed very comfy, fridge in room and convenient to Target, Jack in the box and our favourite bar Grunion's. Has a small pool which will come in handy

Very good budget motel has been updated in rooms, which are very clean. Stayed 1 night, and returned at end of holiday for 3 nights, easy to find. Reception staff helpful. Good location near restaurants and beaches. Room large and very clean. 1 kingsize bed, TV flat screen, seating area, fridge. 2 bedside tables with charging sockets Bathroom large and... More

Seahorse Inn is definitely a "motel". I've stayed here twice now and was happy both times. The rooms are clean which is nice for a motel. The rooms are dated but they are fine for the price. The front desk folks are very nice and friendly when checking in. There is an on-site Mexican Restaurant which I have not been... More

After staying in a couple of dives around California I had low expectations based on the price of this motel. However, upon arrival we were delighted to find that the Seahorse Inn was extremely clean and well kept. Despite its location on a busy road, the rooms were quiet. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk to Hermosa Beach... More

This is an aging motel that serves a budget traveler. It is located on a busy street and there is some street noise, but it dies down at night. The room and property are clean, but the hotel is dated. If cost is your primary focus, this is a good place to consider. The on site restaurant, Sions, is a... More

We needed a room for one night, and it fit our needs just fine. The room was ready at 2, and we had one LARGE single bed for about 95.00. Room is big but the bathroom is tight. Large refrigerator, flat screen with direct TV, and the WiFi worked great. It is a bit outdated, and my wife missed having... More

The motel is right on highway 1 so location wise this is very good. The reception is like stepping into someones own home where they made an area to recieve customers. It lacks the modern comfort of a reception area and you can look into the owners kitchen/dining room. There are a few information brochures available. The rooms have an... More
