Cabin camped here and was impressed with how quiet it was. Our cabin had no bathroom, which was fine, but was a bit farther away from the bathrooms than the Eureka KOA, and the bathrooms were a bit more dated...perfectly fine though. This property is just a short bike ride from Manchester State Park, which has a lovely beach.

The scenery where the campground is located is beautiful You can walk to the beach, but most families don't. Instead they let their kids run wild, screaming through the campground all day and night. The swimming pool is packed with kids, unsupervised, as well as the playgrounds. For families who like to let their kids just run around without worry,... More

Let me start by saying that this was our first visit to a KOA so while I don't have other stays to compare it to, I did not find anything about this KOA lacking and we had a great time! My husband, three teenage daughters and myself stayed here for 3 nights as part of a northern CA road trip.... More

My wife, pup, and I visited during the off season but enjoyed the area immensely. We did get lucky when it came to the weather and found plenty of outdoor activities. This KOA is as well kept as any we've been to and in some way even nicer. The bathrooms were updated and clean. The location of the campground was... More

We rented 5 cabins for a youth trip during the off season. This was a fun little place and the kids enjoyed their stay as well as the adults. There is plenty of things to do on the grounds; pool, volleyball, rent bikes, ect. We look forward to coming back next year.

Camped here in 2013. We had a great stay. Clean, well maintained, great location & loved walking to the beach every day. This is one of my favorite KOA's. So, we didn't think twice to coming back in Sept 19-21, 2014. HOWEVER, NOISE was a big factor on Sat night. Very annoying when the Sat. evening wedding didn't end until... More

The staff was very friendly and offered us several options for our tent sight. The bathrooms were spotless, the pool and hot tub area very clean. They even show movies at night and had a band the next night. The camp also included a kitchen area where you could use a stove, microwave etc, with lots of places to sit.... More

Been staying here since I was a kid. The current owners are always adding more stuff and making it entertaining for not only children but also adults. There is also a beach within walking distance the is clean and lots of fun to walk on. Keep up the good work!

Just took a trip for Labor Day weekend to the MB KOA and it was great. All of the amenities of this KOA are fantastic! They have a ton of activities for all ages, the restrooms & showers were immaculate and the sites were very large, spacious and clean. Two issues we had: thought it was closer to the beach... More

Stayed in a fifth-wheel for a couple nights. Facilities are fine; staff friendly and professional. Kind of a downside--due to the drought conditions, the spaces, which are natural ground and neither grass nor paved, are dusty dirt. You are in the trees so their cable is the TV option. Convenient to Mendocono & beach
