I had found this place on the internet so when I was in the area I thought I would go take a look. I was greeted by a extremly rude man. I let him know that I stay in the area a lot but had never heard of this place so I wanted to see it. His first words to... More

We spent two nights at this B & B near Lower Lake, CA. This is a very quiet and somewhat remote location. The house was built within the 20 years. Rooms are not bad. The breakfast was a step above "continental". There is a private lake across from the house, with motor-less boats that you can use free of charge.... More

In strongly recommend Spirit Lake BnB for deep relaxation and rejuvenation. It is in Lower Lake, California (30 minutes from Calistoga) and run by a delightful couple, Elaine Marie and Peter. Just in a couple of days, I felt like a new woman and was glad I had booked for a couple more. The natural and quiet surroundings were soothing... More

Far from the madding Crowd is an enchanted B&B. From the moment you enter this unmarked property, you will know that you are in a special place. There are only four visitor rooms, each is very nicely appointed and comfortable. It was a joy to look over the lake and to hear birds singing each morning. We went in June... More

I highly recommend Spirit Lake B & B to anyone who is traveling in the Konocti Harbor area or just wants to get away for a relaxing weekend. The proprietors of this establishment, Peter and Elaine Marie are fabulous hosts. They welcome everyone with warmth, they are very personable, and their home has a spiritual ambience. The room was extremely... More

Spiritlake is a place to renew and restore. It is a peaceful oasis. A lovely house with an ambience of joy and healing. The setting is serene. The hosts are intuitive and supportive. The rooms are lovingly and tastefully decorated and the breakfast is beyond many B&B's... really top notch. Enjoy a baptism in the warm lake and with a... More

What a peaceful experience we had with or gracious hosts Elaine Marie and Peter! We listened to the quiet sounds of the wind in the trees. We watched the birds, deer and other wildlife as we walked around the beautiful lake. We forgot all about the city stress of our lives as we fell asleep in our very private and... More

This is truly a remarkable place, hosted warmly by Elaine and Peter. The Watsu treatment was heaven and the swim in the serene and beautiful lake a delight. I could not think of a better place to relax and unwind at the moment, sadly our stay was only 3 days short. Stefan and Maren from Berkeley. (do not miss out... More

Being an avid B&B traveler, Spirit Lake is top on my list of places to stay. From the rooms to the food to the serenity I was truly re-energized after my weekend there. It really felt like home away from home and our hosts, Peter and Elaine were the most gratious. We played golf, gambled, saw a concert, went shopping,... More
