The room was basic and small. The mattress was firm and comfortable. The area around the hotel was well lit at night. The hotel is mainly used by truckers and traveler for a night of sleep. No free breakfast but Denny's is nearby:-) it did the job and it was cheap!

I stayed here with my two young daughters on driving trip to Southern California. The rate was good and the room was basic and adequate. There were few maint. issues I noticed, but probably typical of a Motel6. The property is next to a truck stop, so we asked for a room away from that. The front desk clerk was... More

I stayed here during a return driving trip from So Cal to Nor Cal. Tired and exhausted after my car batter died at a nearby eatery, I decided to check in to Motel 6 around 9 PM. After verifying the rates via the desk, I was able to find a lower rate online. However, the desk clerk (who was rude... More

First. Remember you are paying for what you get. This is Motel 6. Not known for luxury and extra amenities. They don't offer shampoo, lotion, bottle water, but do have soap. The rooms are small, but have a small refrigerator and microwave. Internet is free, but don't expect high speed connections. This very typical of the low budget hotels along... More

The title says it all. We were told a section of the hotel was being remodeled and had no hot water. They ensured us we would be where there was hot water... wrong. Because we arrived late and left early we didn't bother to deal with the tattoo-guy at the front desk wearing a hair net. They also don't have... More

Tom Bodett kept the lights on for me. Okay, you get what you pay for. What I needed was someplace half-way between Sacramento and LA and this fit the bill. Just off Interstate 5. Truck stop heaven, of course. Lots of chain food options which I didn't use. I arrived early evening and departed early morning. So cheap rate and... More

Seems to be favorite spot for laborers to stay and unwind. My room was facing pool and had a bbq going until late. Guess it was managers children playing outside room making lot of noise. Noisy truck stop across street. It was clean, maybe too clean as whatever they used to clean room had a strong smell and I left... More

Stayed for 11 nights in February 2014. Needed a room with telephone (all rooms are claimed to have these). Phone wasn't working and wasn't repaired despite reporting fault each day. E-mails to Manager went unanswered. Reception unwilling to allow a swap to another room. Deputy manager eventually told me that phone hadn't been working for ages but that Manager didn't... More

First time at a motel 6 was good. Then rooms met exactly what I was looking for. Very quiet and clean. The staff was helpful and they gave me my room quickly with no problems. So overall my stay was good.
