Quiet little resort in a quiet little town. Well maintained grounds. The nine hole executive course is well kept and fun - perfect for couples or families not too serious about their golf. Los Osos is an odd town for the central coast- it's not a tourist trap. I think Sea Pines is about the only hotel in town. The... more

I came to Los Osos to attend a class for a week; my husband came along to relax. The name "Golf Resort" is a bit of a stretch, though. The rooms are spread around the property in several very ordinary looking 2-story frame buildings. Our room was spacious and clean, but with deferred maintenance. The resort promises free internet in... more

I'm going to preface this review by stating that I live in Southern California, and have stayed up and down the coast at numerous hotels / motels. Here in CA, you don't get much for under $200 a night, and on weekends a two night stay is the norm. At Sea Pines, we were allowed to stay for one weekend... more

We loved the golf package of 2 nights and two rounds of golf at the Sea Pines in piscuresque Los Osos. The setting is quiet, serene and beautiful. The Sea Pines Golf Resort is a rather isolated area of the central coast. Not many people and not much traffic. Los Osos is only a few minutes from San Luis Obispo... more

We recently stayed at the Sea Pines Golf Resort because we bought a golf package. There is a reason they don't show any photos of this place. I think the word 'resort' is a stretch. This place is more like a motel. The steps leading up to our room were all worn and needed new coat of paint, the sinks... more

Just returned from a quick stay in Los Osos visiting family. The Sea Pines Golf Resort is an amazing an intimate resort. It is a simple as far as amenities go, but the views and location is awesome. Just minutes from Montana de Oro State Park, Downtown San Luis Obispo and area beaches and vineyards. The resort is very clean... more

I booked into this hotel because I was attending a class in Los Osos and it was very convenient for the week. Overall the room was quite pleasant, with a tiny patio situated on greens for a peaceful view. The room was a nice size and the bed - a queen - very comfortable. I was surprised to see there... more

Yes it gets coveted Hidden Gem status. Sea Pines is not a Best Western (not sure why it says that) and this isn't the famous sea pines in North Carolina, but for comparison sake the rooms are about the same as a nice Best Western and the executive 9 hole golf course is perfectly adequate - featuring beautiful views of... more

I live in the area and had friends from Phoenix visit. We told them to book at Sea Pines although we had not seen a room yet. We told them, based on Trip Advisor, to ask for a "view room." Sea Pines is located on the outskirts of Los Osos very close to the Montana de Oro State Park entrance.... more

We stayed two nights at the Sea Pines. The room was good sized, with a fireplace and king size bed. We overlooked Moro Bay. There is an executive golf course on site but we had a golf package to play at two local other courses. We did use the practice greens for putting and chipping however. That was a nice... more
