Stayed Fri. and Sat. June 6 & 7, 2014. Poor maintenance of eucalyptus trees. A branch from one fell on my car and totaled my car. Eucalyptus trees are notorious for shedding branches unless maintained in a very specific way, and these people don't do it. The skies were clear and the wind, if any, was minimal. I was legally... I felt like I was at a Mountain retreat! This place is quiet and tucked away near the Santa Cruz mountains. The wall heater and the a/c unit were a bit outdated, but the beds were very comfortable. I did find it weird that the screen door and the sliding glass door were reversed. Usually a screen door is on... More

Reasonable price, quite room if you reserve king size garden setting. Old facility, but almost always has availability. Good breakfast, but terrible coffee, my opinion. Stayed couple of times. I like it has a garden and a lots of green around the building, nice in the summer with the swimming pool.

In her hay day L.G. Lodge was the 'PLACE' but time has taken it toll on her. She's kind of charming now but could use some work. We could over looked the wifi inconsistency but the lack of warm, not hot water in the morning was an issue. oh, so disappointing. If it were not that we were meeting friends... More

I stayed in a room just by the reception - so my wifi connection was excellent and I got woken up by vehicles at 5am. Someone staying in one of the rooms at the other end of the facility might have the reverse experience. Outside of deliveries in the morning, the place is silent. I found that the room was... More

This rustic Motor Lodge is near Old Town Los Gatos with easy access from highway 17. I checked in early and was asked if I brought a pet with me. Open network complimentary WiFi ran fast. Breakfast buffet from 7 a.m. To 9 a.m. unfortunately started too late for me to use. Nearby Old Town restaurants are pricey with difficult... More

I was concerned because of some negative reviews but didn't want to spend as much as the other area hotels were charging so I took a chance on this hotel. We had a great experience. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. There was a mini fridge and microwave, free bottled water in the room. There was a very faint odor... More

I read the other reviews and feel like the negative ones were staying at a different hotel. While the hotel is older, the location is perfect, the rooms were really large, the have balconies, the breakfast was great and the staff member kept everything stocked. We were extremely pleased and have added this hotel to our 'Stay again' list.

After looking at the $200 ghetto options near the airport, I decided to head out of town in the way I was going 10 minutes and get a hotel. It worked out. Room was $109, no bull. Room was clean. Parking was good. Bed was comfy. Water was hot. Breakfast was real food, not continental bagels and peanut butter. Id... More

The hotel is nicely located, close to the trail and the main street. The rooms are nothing special. The pool contains so much clorine so that only 30 minutes in it will make your eyes red and they start hurting. The service i was dissepointed with because we asked for a extra bed and it took 5 hours and going... More
