We stayed three nights at the Best Western Carlyle Inn in April 2009. The entrance of the hotel may look slightly dodgy, but in fact this hotel is really nice! Upon arrival, we were directly upgraded to a superior room. The windows did not give on the noisy street, but in a cute little courtyard of the hotel. The rooms... more

Only 10 minutes from Cedar-Sinai Hospital where we needed to visit. We were pleasantly surprised by this little hotel. It was clean and had a beautiful courtyard with lots of flowers and plants. The staff were very pleasant and helpful in finding good restaurants. Loved the courtyard; could lounge or eat breakfast there. The parking rate of $10 per day... more

My husband and two kids and I spent three nights at this hotel. We payed $130per night and this hotel was overpriced. The rooms are very small, the hotel staff are not interested in customer service, and the neighborhood is loud and unsafe. Upon check in the rude front desk clerk insisted upon recharging us for all three nights, even... more

I would like to thank you for your response. It is only with helpful feedback like yours that we can provide training opportunities for every member of the staff including myself. I booked this hotel for 4 nights via Priceline. Parking was $10 per day plus tax. Parking spaces were very limited and sometimes you wouldn't find an available parking spot. They also wanted you to leave your keys so that they could move your car if needed as cars could easily end up getting blocked in! The room was nice... more

I have stayed at this hotel many times since September 2007. When checking in the service has always been above the rest and I travel a lot! The staff goes all out and a few times I asked for a certain room and they were happy to make sure it was ready at check in, within a few minutes. Once... more

A couple of my girlfriends and I stayed at this hotel for a concert in town on Halloween weekend. It's a small boutique style hotel that we felt was very reasonably priced at about 150 before tax a night. I must say that I did read reviews before booking and was very afraid of not having a reservation, so I... more

We stayed at this place for five nights in March, 2008. Don't be fooled by the Robertson Street address--the place is a bit of a shock upon arrival. However, The Carlyle turned out to be a well-managed place (and there is an excellent Thai restaurant directly across the street). We had a junior suite. It wasn't as swanky as the... more

We made a reservation over the hotel's website. We received a confirmation via e-mail, with a confirmation number. We received an e-mail prior to arriving, saying that 'they' were looking forward to our visit. When we arrived (4:00 p.m. on the scheduled day), we were told that they had no record of our reservation, could not locate the reservation number,... more

This little gem of a hotel is tucked away on the very "trafficky" Robertson Blvd., just south of the heart of Beverly Hills (but probably not walking distance) and about a 15 minute drive from Santa Monica, Marina del Rey, or Downtown L.A. It's very quaint, with styles reminiscent of L.A. in th "good old days" (i.e. striped chaise lounges... more
