Stayed 3 nights here from 9th April to 12th April 2009 in Room 103 overlooking Vermont Avenue. The room is really very very nice, clean, comfortable and well maintained. I paid AUD $284 which is about US $205 for 3 nights which I thought was a good deal through Expedia the only thing about this hotel is that they have... more

Located a hundred feet from the red Metro line (Vermont/Beverly), smack in the middle between downtown and Hollywood and a block from the Hollywood freeway, this is a perfect base for exploring Los Angeles. There are inexpensive eateries nearby (google Atlacatl - Salvadorean cuisine, yum!) and larger shops if you need something. This is Koreatown, but people do speak English,... more

I mistook this Comfort Inn for a different one and unfortunately prepaid in a nonrefundable package. I like to walk for exercise and was not comfortable walking in this neighborhood. I thought it had a pool, wrong place. The room was actually spacious but was considered to be a King Jacuzzi Suite. Well, the Jacuzzi located in the corner of... more

The other reviews are totally misleading. Europeans on a budget apparently will tolerate mostly anything, the rest of us will want to stear clear of a hopeless unmaintained dump like this. Face it -- Los Angeles is expensive and there isn't enough quality and affordable rooms near downtown. If you get a "good deal", it's for a reason, and here... more

I don't know if we just got a really good deal or not but this place was really cheap. The location was brilliant, and the hotel was lovely. We were only here for one night before starting a trip up the coast but it did the job brilliantly and was only £5 for parking which even with the room still... more

We stayed there for 5 nights for vacation. One thing I like the hotel is that it's very close to Korea Town and supermarkets and drug stores are close by. And it's very close to 101 South. The hotel is a bit old. The garage is spacious and it's right under the hotel. The beds are quite comfortable. But the... more

On the whole we found this hotel to be very good. The rooms are large, clean, well appointed with TV, ironing etc. the beds are comfortable and everything seemed to work, including the hot-tub. The location is also very good with the freeway close-by. There were no major issues with this hotel; however there is a couple of things which... more

It would have been a perfect stay if it was automated check in, but of course we have to deal with people who probably dont know what they're doing, first of all, he gave us a room with people already in it, hmmm duh? next room, the jacuzzi didnt work, (i got a picture of the tub without the all... more

When my sister and I arrived we were a little taken back becuase we thought the outside would be nicer than it appeared to us and once we got inside the sofas kind of needed to be replaced but when Peter checked us in he was very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent and very clean and that made... more

Fantastic hotel with all the creature comforts i expected. My husband and I had been planning a stay in LA for a while and were very picky about which hotels we were staying at. We are used to staying at places like the Omni and Wilshire Grand but were on a tighter budget this year. This hotel is amazing! It... more
