1) EXTREMELY RUDE man who is always there. 2) Select "Dog Friendly" on their Days Inn website and this comes up- however, the rude man will SCREAM at your face that they do not allow dogs. Even if you show them ON THEIR WEBSITE that it states that they DO ALLOW DOGS, apparently he has changed his mind. Being 800... more
The room (#129) was comfortable but there are some serious repair issues. There was mold growing in the bathroom, the toilet was in terrible condition, painting was sloppy, wallpaper was peeling from the walls, and both faucets leaked. Looks like repairs were attempted but were very unprofessional and sloppy. The hotel building seemed well kept and the grounds looked nice.... more
I was drawn to the location due to its proximity to a gathering spot with friends and family. I trusted the ratings. I should have looked elsewhere. While the room itself was ok - not great - the overall facility stank. There is no parking on the level with the rooms - so if you are disabled, forget it. The... more
The room was very spacious and comfortable, but there was a chemical smell in the cartpeting. We asked the manager for an air freshner, but he refused to accomodate us. We went out for dinner and left all the windows open to air it out instead. Parking was not handy for handicapped persons as it was a long walk and... more
Room is average to small. Very clean. Bathroom needs some serious updating! I mean serious! Floor was uneven and creaky. Sits on very busy Ventura Blvd so its somewhat noisy. The price was right for the area. Lots of trendy restaurants and shopping. more
It was a horrible stay. Checked in late--front desk guy pulled out paperwork for $150 a night. We have reservations for $89 a night. Then wanted to give us 2 queens smoking. We had reserved a King. Then wanted to give us a King Smoking....NO! We reserved a non-smoking King. Guy was a jerk. Parking is a TOTAL disaster, but... more
My husband and I stayed at the Days Inn - Studio City at the end of July. We were in the area for me to see a specialist, have medical tests completed, and sightsee somewhat. Our overall impression of the Days Inn is it is an older building. The desk had a bit of mix up with my reservations, but... more
Last weekend we stayed at the Days inn for 4 nights. They were horrible four nights despite the fact that we only spend a total of 8 hours on the hotel since we were always out with other friends. First of all when we reached the hotel the person checking us in was incredibly rude. 4 days later we checked... more
Check in & out was easy. Plenty of free parking. Rooms were basic - but fine. Clean. Free breakfast is cereal, toast coffee & juice which is convenient in the morning if you want to head out & sightsee. Location is good - excellent grocery store across the street & fridge in the room. Free wireless internet. Overall, a good... more
