Stayed here a few years ago and wasnt particularly impressed but they have done some remodeling since. The rooms are remodeled and cleaner than they were then. OK, this is one of those you can do it if your only expectation is a clean room and a free breakfast. They even have a wafflemaker, fruit, yogurt, pastries, hard cooked eggs. The breakfast room holds about ten people, so get there early if you want a turn at the wafflemaker and a seat. The pool is not heated... more

Formerly Aku Aku motel, this property is now a Best Western after undergoing an extensive facelift. The old polynesian tiki facade is gone and replaced by a more modern, semi-mediterranean style front. The rooms have also been overhauled, with the addition of crown moulding and new carpeting, fresh paint, etc. Unfortunately, the seamy underbelly of the Aku Aku still shows.... more
