Very impressed with this hotel all around. Courteous service, very nice room, centrally located, a true blessing. Management had been very understanding re a previous mix-up re a reservation and I appreciated that. Highly recommend this hotel. It's a winner.

Chose this hotel for a quick UCLA campus visit. It was on the UCLA website as a recommended hotel and it gives a rate discount if you are visiting on UCLA business (which includes a prospective student visit). It is in an excellent location just a couple of blocks from campus, so we parked the car for the night and... More

Stayed here while visiting UCLA with my daughter. Very nice, friendly staff. Clean hotel. Great location next to UCLA and Westwood Village. Quite neighborhood. Comfortable bed. Free parking and Wi-Fi. Breakfast is sparse, but they don't have a lot of space for it. Would recommend and would stay here again.

The room smelled bad, the in room refrigerator was so loud i had to unplug it. the toilet was running all night (despite the water shortage). i coluld see outside through the holes surrounding the air conditioner. Staff was fine. Continental breakfast was simple but good (cereal, mild, instant oatmeal, freezer bagels, juice, coffee. No in room coffee. :( I... More

This is a small hotel, located right at the south-west border of the UCLA campus. We chose it exactly because of that fact + the best available value at the time for this location. Me and my husband came to apartment hunt (within walking distance) for his UCLA job offer, so, Hilgard House was a great base to work from... More

The property is very nice, it was clean, updated furniture. We were on the second floor facing the freeway. We never heard traffic going by. There is a shuttle that runs from the Hilgard House to UCLA Med. Center. We did use the shuttle. Room had a nice flat screen TV. Bath was a bit small but we managed. Housekeeping... More

The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice size and clean. The beds and pillows are very, very comfortable. The breakfast is in a small area but they have trays for your food and you can take them up to your room.We were on the 2nd floor and it was very quiet. It was a very nice 2... More

Our room ( suite) was two bedrooms and two baths with a kitchen , dining and living area. We were really shocked to discover our room was in a building apart and seperate from the main hotel. They push the free continental breakfast which is in a tiny foyer not big enough to accommodate more than three. The building we... More

Opposite the W hotel but at a fraction of the price. I'm a light sleeper and welcomed the calming hum of the air conditioner and humidifier. Pillows and linens are fresh and make for a good sleep (good mattress too). I was on third (top) floor in corner far from elevator. Bathroom is small but manageable. Whole foods and Trader... More

The dinning room does not exist and the lobby is too small, so I guest it is more a guest house than an hotel. BUT the staff is so kind and helpful ! They help me so many times finding places in L.A. and other needs, especially Randall. I'm going to miss this guy.
