My husband booked a room on Tarzana Inn's website. It was booked as a non-smoking room because I don't smoke and am allergic. When I got there they had it as a smoking room and it was all they had available. I ended up canceling and their only saving grace is that they did not charge me for the room... More

The Tarzana Inn is a charming, relatively small hotel in a nice residential neighborhood on a street with lots of conveniences...close to the 101 expressway, In'n'Out Burgers, Whole Foods and some upscale restaurants. Loved eating a light breakfast around the pool and even take out dinner there occasionally. The bed was very comfortable and it was pleasant to have a... More

The Tarzana Inn is a small 50s built hotel in between Sherman Oaks and Woodland Hills off 101. Although it is a 50s hotel it features a courtyard so almost all of the rooms face in towards the pool, which is always a decided security advantage. The pool is small but there and very usable. The rooms are not terribly... More

If you are looking for a very inexpensive hotel, this one will give you value in the valley. Free WI FI, breakfast I believe is included too. I don't need the breakfast as I am here for a nearby meeting that will include meals. Starbucks is 1/2 a mile away, as is Whole Foods. Rooms are clean & quaint.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean and have a coffee maker and fridge. There is a pool and free parking. It's not fancy, but if you are visiting friends or family in the Valley or don't mind driving a little further to see the tourist sites, this is great place. Though it is right... More

This hotel is just mediocre. The bathroom is VERY small and really, rooms at a Motel 6 are nicer.the location here is good however, a nice area., and they do have a decent self serve breakfast available.,because of this and the location it gets a 3 rating. This motel is ok, just not worth 100 $ per night in my opinion.

We traveled to Los Angeles CA to visit our son - and I simply wanted somewhere clean that was close to his home. I stumbled upon the Tarzana Inn and had him check it out for us. Got the OK and booked 3 rooms for 8 nights. It is very unassuming and on a busy street - but the rooms... More

The Tarzana Inn is a really good hotel with a great value. It not far from Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice Beach and Hollywood, rooms are good and clean and parking is free. They have free Wifi and complimentary breakfast which is ok for the price. A Pool is also available but we haven't used it. All in all we were... More

Request a room with a tub bath. The first room we had (101) had a glass door enclosed shower stall. The bathroom was so small, the shower stall glass door hit the toilet, and could not open completely. Also, room 101 had windows facing the Chevron gas station next door. My daughter was wakened by some loud music coming from... More

I was very surprised to find that great motel, clean, nice pool, good quality of the rooms for a very fair price in LA. This is really great value and I stayed there with my son and he liked it, too. Fair breakfast and save parking. Ideal location to start tours throughout LA from there.
