We stayed at the Vagabond Inn in San Pedro CA on Jan 9th prior to embarking on a cruise. The hotel is a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. They have a free shuttle to the cruise port which we found to be a bonus. From LAX, it was a 20 minute cab ride and the hotel is only 8... More

Average only because the management did try to make it right. When we checked in the room there was no microwave, no refrigerator, and the fire alarm was hanging down. These were fixed shortly after we got in after trying to explain to the non-English speaking handy man and maid. The worse part was getting to the cruise port. The... More

Very good value for the price. Adequate room and accommodations, helpful and polite desk service, nice breakfast (in a crowded little room....). We were over-nighting for a cruise, as were dozens of other guests, and a free shuttle to the port was part of the deal. This was the only negative: one van shuttled 7 guests at a time and... More

I did my research asked locals and decided on a hotel I wasn't too sure of....I was incredibly surprised.... Great friendly staff, clean freshly painted room, beautiful view, beautiful clean swimming pool!! Great continental breakfast, extremely close to freeway and 1 straight shot to Downtown Los Angeles ...literally 1 freeway. I highly recommended for overnight or longtime stay. Thank you... More

Simply the worst. The room was dirty, and the smell of mold wreaked from the fridge inside. There was an adult store across the street and drunk neighbors next to the hotel that played loud music late into the night. Found pizza and beer left in the elevator several consecutive days during my stay. The elevator had not been expected... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a couple of nights before our cruise at the Port of Los Angeles was due to depart. We booked the room based upon price more than anything and what we got was a pleasant surprise. The good: The three-story hotel is located on a very busy street, but you couldn't tell because it's... we had booked the hotel as a stay over from our boat trip. We arrived real early and certainly did not expect to be checked in. Went for a walk to get a coffee and when we came back the receptionist not only booked us in but gave us an upgraded room. Did not have to do this and understand... More

This hotel is in an excellent location, the staff, especially Roberto, are extremely nice and helpful. And the General Manager of the property, Shiblee Ahmed is a hands-on guy, a true gentleman. He is very, Very, VERY courteous towards his guests. If you need a place to stay in San Pedro, look no further than the Vagabond Inn on Gaffey... More

You read that right. There were a pile of pubes on the bathroom floor. It was quite the sight. The room reeked of smoke! We weren't even given the option of a no-smoking room. Across the street was an adult delight... no, not mcdonalds, Ronald mcdonald's other favorite place - a "romance" store. In neon red lights glistening on the... More

This is our 3rd stay at this property had a wonderful stay. Only thing I experienced was if you have disability make sure on bottom floor. The elevator was out and we were on 3rd floor very bad in checking out with all of baggage. I definitely will return to this property. Very friendly and comfortable!! Thank you LP
