It's safe to say that I'm sure Sunrise Hotel could care a less about any reviews but I hope at least this reviews helps you to stay away. We were in town for a wedding and let's just say we left this hotel as quickly as we walked in. First, the Sunrise's web page is quite deceiving and second when... More

We stayed here for one night before leaving on a cruise out of LA port. Don't underestimate a free shuttle to the terminal. very easy and organized!! Breakfast good for the price. There was a strange smell in our hallway but the room we had was great. I really liked that we could walk up 6th street and see the... More

Many ships leave from the San Pedro port and many people do what we do...get to the port the day before sailing. The Sunrise Hotel is situated right across from the piers and their shuttle takes you right to your ship. The hotel offers average rooms that are clean and comfortable breakfast is included. We have stayed there twice already... More

We weren't expected nor wanted anything fancy for this stay at this hotel. All we wanted was a clean place to rest our head the night before we were to start our Panama Canal Cruise with NCL. This hotel fit the bill (not too expensive either). We found the hotel to be clean and the staff to be friendly. The... More

We spent 3 nights reserving 5 rooms for family wedding. Rooms are clean & comfortable for being an older hotel. However, the service left a bad taste. The continental breakfast on day 1 was everything we expected including some packaged hard boiled eggs which helped my husband be able to eat since he has diabetes and needs the protein. On... More

A complete dump. Very rude staff. Very dirty rooms, halls, parking lots, bathrooms, and murky pool with a homeless man and dog in it. Asked to move rooms and was told they are all the same level of clean. We had trash in our room when we entered. Toilet was running the whole time. Everything was sticky?! Non smoking room... More

The hotel choices for a nominal fee are limited in San Pedro, California. Suffice it to say, this sleepy port town has struggled for a viable identity for decades. It's the 125th anniversary year and the city officials are tying hard to spruce this town up. The events include art walks, farmers markets and drinks in the doorways of downtown.... More
