We found this hotel very comfortable, with big rooms, big beds and everything really nice and clean. I loved the decoration, around the deer theme (not real deer heads... but sculptures... everything white.. really tasteful. Everything looks brand new and well tended. If you are going to have a car and do not want to be in a the middle... More

I just had an overnight at the Sportsmen's Lodge and Event Center. We were sponsoring an Expo the following day. Easy check-in and check-out. Very friendly staff. Really good food at the River Rock Restaurant! Try the Skillet Mac'nCheese!

We're so glad you enjoyed your time with us! The Skillet Mac n Cheese is one of our favorites as well. We will let our Housekeeping staff know to be alert to any heavy perfume smells in the rooms. We look forward to welcoming you back soon! More

Was unimpressed by the Sporsman's Lodge, small beds and average decor topped off by having to pay $14 per day to park...! Which wasn't mentioned when booking. Would not recommend. Why do they charge for parking in this area?!

Stayed here for a few nights on business in Burbank and was very happily surprised with the hotel. Very nice pool side room. Basic but clean and easy. A cool little bar with good music and drinks. Food is just so-so but there are so many great restaurants and bars in walking distance it really doesn't matter. Hotel is good... More

When I was trying to find a hotel to stay in central-ish LA after 3 days in Disneyland, I was stressed trying to find anything decent under $200 a night. This hotel came up on Groupon Getaways and looked mostly great - I decided to take a chance. The only stressor I had was that I had requested a room... More

I spent two night's at this hotel with a week intervening between the two stays. The hotel is modern and the staff reasonably friendly. We were upgraded both times to a poolside room but the first time we couldn't use the pool because there was a massive party of teens staying and they dominated the pool (and ran around shouting... Clean, modern and overall quite well kept hotel. A bit noisy with a room facing the street, not due to traffic but the garden below the balcony (nice feature), that had quite a lot going on - they charge you for parking as well. The staff was friendly and professional, but we could definately had benefited from a bit more... More

This is an iconic hotel. I stayed here for two nights with family to visit a family member who was sick. Picked the hotel because of its close proximity to my niece's apartment a block behind the hotel. Did not do sightseeing but was told it was close to Universal Studios. When you walk into the hotel, you feel like... More

I can't find anything to fault in our stay last week at SL. Our initial reception from Howard at the front desk was very prompt and friendly, including the warm greeting we got from Raphael who handled our bags. Room was super clean, and for an extra 20 bucks, they setup a small refrigerator. WiFi was excellent, fast, free, and... More

We found Sportsmen's Lodge with help from Priceline. Looking for a nice, comfortable hotel at the very last minute. We were pleasantly surprised. SL was hip and funky, a total remodeled hotel from the 50's with everything you need. Rooms were updated and beds were comfortable, great bedding. We had a room facing the pool which was lovely (I think... More
