Had numerous problems with the booking prior to arrival, which a member of staff at the hotel dealt with very efficiently , and upgraded the room to an executive suite complimentary. The room was very spacious and really nice. Was really pleased with the upgrade! The hotel is very close to Universal Studios, and a free shuttle is offered, which... more

Excellent hotel and location. Check in was a breeze, lots of parking near to your room, free wireless and free shuttle to universal. Room slightly small but very well sound proofed, no traffic noise here. Their big weakness is a $15 per night parking fee for residents they need to come up with a way to erode that fee, it... more

My husband and I stayed here under the recommendation of his parents, and we are glad we did! It is a very nice hotel. The front desk staff are very helpful, seemed sincere in their hope that we enjoyed our stay and made us feel welcome immediately. We requested a room on the upper level with a view of the... more

I have stayed in a lot of hotels in the US and when you are travelling by yourself you sure find out exactly what they are like. I wrote to this hotel before I went to ask if it was safe for a single woman traveller – had a really friendly helpful reply and that set the scene. The room... more

My family stayed here and found it to be in the perfect location. We flew into LAX and it was a 25 min. drive. We were 3 minutes from Universal Studios, 15 minutes from the beautiful Santa Monica Beach, and 15 minutes from Hollywood Blvd. Walk of Fame. It was clean and the staff were great! We would defilnitely stay... more

Our room was clean and in great condition. The staff was nice and helpful. The location was great for visiting Universal Studios or Burbank and was only 15 min from Hollywood. It was great to be so close to the main freeways in order to get across town. Looked like it had a great pool and fitness center as well. more

I visited this hotel in January with my mother. We had a 3 day stay in LA before boarding a cruise to Mexico. The hotel was ideally suited to our plans of seeing and doing as mnuch as possible in the short time that we had. We visited Universal Studios and Universal City Walk using the free (several times daily)... more

A friend and myself stayed at this hotel for a week starting 8th May. We didnt hire a car whilst we were in LA. The best part of the hotel for my friend and I was how helpful the staff were, especially in the gift shop. Because we hadnt hired a car we were having to rely on public transport.... more

Found this hotel to be clean and nice. Staff was friendly and the servers in the restaurant were always a blast and very friendly. Definitely get a room overlooking the tennis courts as it is right beside the 101 freeway and it can be very noisy. Would stay again more

We spent the final night of our US roadtrip here before flying back to London and we weren't disappointed. Great breakfast... a pool to chill out... central for shopping and Universal. Rooms are fairly basic, but request one overlooking the tennis courts as I believe they are quieter than on the other side of the hotel. Not plush... but clean... more
