This is the third time in the last year and a half that we have stayed at the Westin Bonaventure and that is because we got a great deal on Priceline. Each time we have been unimpressed with the rooms - which are small and outdated (orange striped wallpaper, old green carpet, blue and gold upholstered chairs) - and on... more

I have stayed at a variety of hotels from the more expensive to the very cheap. From this, I can easily say the Westin Bonaventure is a terrible hotel. Most of my bad experience was due to terrible customer service and cleanliness. My questions were completely ignored by the staff, and I was never told how much I was paying... more

I was not really impressed. The room was TINY!!!!!! It was comfortable, and nice, but I just wasn't impressed. It was over-priced, and the valet's were not nice. They drove my car horribly through the garage!!!!!! and parking is EXPENSIVE!!!!! But, the morning breakfast buffet I thought was great! more

I can only agree with what I have read in most of the reviews on here in that this place really aint very nice. It is old and in my opinion should have been remodelled a long time ago. Apparently one is being undertaken currently (although I saw no evidence of it) - this is at least 10 years too... more

I was very apprehensive after reading the reviews here after getting this hotel on a priceline bid. My husband and I were in LA attending a freshman orientation at USC with our son. We stayed 3 nights. We were in a king bed room in the red tower. Our son stayed in our room the first night only and then... more

Had to stay here at short notice for a business trip. Hotel is a bit of an icon due to the innovative design. I thought the hotel was expensive at $169 USD per night but I suppose for a business CBD location some might have found it reasonable. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. We had 2 double... more

For a hotel that charges about 170 bux per night - this is NOT worth this money. I got it at a very big discount, and I stayed only 1 night (walls in my apartment were being painted so I had to get a hotel) - I don't feel robbed but you, traveller, beware! Junky rooms, not as they are... more

The hotel is very impressive and attractive from the outside. The inside is a bit dated in terms of design, but is still nice. The center bar/restaurant on the first floor is very enjoyable. Aside from that, there are about 5 levels with shops and restaurants (how to get to each of these levels and the hours these locations are... more

we picked this hotel because of its location. we bought tickets to a concert in WDCH and this hotel looked like it's within walking distance to it. in reality we still drove there as it's a steep uphill climb of about 3/4 of a mile. but it was still very close. the service is the worst part of this hotel.... more

The Bonaventure has great extras in the restaurants, shopping & lounges. However, the room & service left alot to be desired. My room was to the right of the solo elevator in the red tower. When I got to my room and opened my curtains, I was staring directly at the people that were in the elevator. My friends got... more
