On our return to LA from a Panama Canal cruise and stops in Miami and New Orleans, this was a one-nighter. Bit expensive getting to and from the hotel to airport but good value for the hotel stay. managed only a couple of short walks around the nearby streets before and after dinner but our first downtown stay since the... if you need to stay in LA downtown, OMNI might be a your choice. Very quite and clean rooms. Close to the LA concert hall, however, if you need to go to convention center you rather stay in other hotel.

We planned a 24-hour downtown getaway and stayed here for one night. The location of the hotel was perfect because we had tickets to the Disney Concert Hall which is across the street and visited the Museum of Contemporary Art, which is literally right outside the hotel's door. Our room was comfortable and had the fittings and furnishings we would... More

I have been here last Dec 2014 and it was a very memorable stay. Thinking back the stunning view from our room. The amazing structures from the ground to the room, very clean, spacious, pleasant and comfortable. The bathroom was refreshing and hygienic, very excellent. The location was great nearby to many resto and bars. The other facilities are great.... More

Very elegant hotel in close proximity to Music Center and Disney Hall. Very comfortable rooms and accommodating staff. Inviting lobby area. The hotel is staffed run very efficiently, starting with the valet parking upon arrival. Caters to both families and business travelers.

My stay was fantastic and my concerns were handled fairly and professionally. I would like to stay at Omni in the future and the rooms were very welcoming and classy. I had a wonderful sleep and the fitness center was amazing. The equipment worked and the cleaning staff was always making the place clean.

If you want to be pampered and served by friendly, helpful staff the Omni Hotel Los Angeles in California Plaza is the place to stay. In addition to the friendly staff, our room was very comfortable and the restaurants in the hotel were very good. The only downside to our stay is that it was very expensive. The room was... More

Overall hotel was very nice, clean, rooms were in great shape and bed was extremely comfortable! Be aware the bar at the hotel does not open till 3 and the pool is very boring, no music or drink service. The location is good. I would not stay there again.

On our first stay, we booked the Omni because it was close to the Music Center. Now we book it because we love it -- a really top-notch operation at a good value. Our room was beautiful, the food at the Noe Bar delicious, and everyone to a person was not only polite and helpful, but charming. Well-done, Omni!

There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
