We spend 2 nights at the Omni. It was perfect. Special thanks to Amy from the travel desk for helping us with car rental and providing us with all relevant information. She saved us a lot of time! Great service! Excellent hotel!

Needed to stay downtown for an event. Location was great. We used the online check in which was very efficient. We just gave our name on arrival and we were given our keys right away. Hotel had festive holiday decorations along with holiday cookies at the front desk (nice touch). 14th floor offered nice views. Room was large, comfy bed,... More

The staff at the hotel were friendly and always willing to help in any way. The rooms were clean and spacious. The great thing about having this hotel in downtown was that it was pretty central to all the places that we wanted to see.

My partner and I stayed here on our way from Australia to Canada recently. The Omni is well located in the downtown area of LA near choice attractions such as Chinatown, Union station, Walt Disney concert hall, Metropolitan museum and many other sights. The hotel is fresh modern and inviting. We checked in effortlessly with the staff all cheery and... More

tastefully appointed rooms, quiet, easy check in. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet...everything high quality and drinks included. worth the package upgrade. 5 minute, safe walk to Disney Concert Hall. 10 minutes to Our Lady of the Angels, which offers a free 1 hour tour...well worth doing if you have the time.

Excellent Choice in LA: Just back from a stay in LA. Wanted a hotel in the downtown area and read about the Omni which is situated on South Olive in the downtown area. Really a handy location with a 5 minute walk to the Metro station at Pershing Square. LA has about 80 rail stations so rather than cabs is... More

Recently stayed for a couple of nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.great customer service! Clean rooms, they also have a very nice buffet downstairs. One thing i also liked was the fact that they had a complimentary house car that can drop u anywhere within a 3 mile radius 7.30-1130pm very convenient. Enjoyed my stay here

We are always pleased with the Omni in downtown LA. The rooms are large and luxurious for a reasonable price. Noe's Bar has great beverages and great food! The scallops appetizer from the restaurant menu are the best I've ever had.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
