We travel to Los Angeles on business regularly and periodically need to stay overnight. We have found the Omni to be top rate in all aspects and will continue to stay at this hotel when overnighting downtown. Service is top notch, facilities are modern, rooms are well appointed, and for being downtown the location is quiet. The only downside is... More

My wife and I stayed in a Deluxe Room for four nights. The friendliness of the staff was probably the highlight of this hotel. They were very helpful at providing transport options to where we were heading and also offered a complimentary car service within a 3mile radius. The hotel itself was clean and tidy. Room was fine. If anything,... More

This hotel looks impersonnal and is vaste but the staff were all helpful and friendly offering good advice. There is a free taxi service to any 3 mile radius and the trip organiser advised us of an excellent tour of LA. The rooms are clean but the lack of a mirror above the dressing table made it difficult for me... More

We stayed here twice, once with four kids, and once as a couple. The facility is impressive and immaculate. The food is excellent. The pool is small, but nice. Valet parking is easy. The one thing to be careful of is that map apps may send you to the wrong street because the north-south avenue runs under the hotel, and... More

For a hotel in the middle of downtown it was in a good spot. Easy to get to dinner locations. Staff were very friendly especially the valet and door staff. One minor negative was that with it being such a large hotel we had to ask for our room to be cleaned even at 2:00pm, after we returned from sightseeing... More

The hotel was clean and I loved it. Lunch at the Grand Café was great. If you stay at the Omni check out the Noe Restaurant. The food & dessert was the best I have had in a hotel restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Loved that the pastry check came to check out our table & how we liked our... More

Stayed here in December for a birthday, though I do live in LA. Stayed here to watch a performance at the Walt Disney Concert Hall which is a 5-minute was away (though it was raining so we took Uber). The hotel is very nice and has a great location; rooms are spacious and clean, but completely different from those we... More

The Omni Los Angeles is the best hotel in town hands down. From excellent customer service to large, comfortable, clean rooms with all the extras, a lively piano bar with delicious food, you won't be disappointed!

This hotel is downtown on olive and 3rd . We stayed from Thursday to Sunday. The staff was exceptional, specially with the fact that they were dealing with a bunch of rowdy Croatians. They were very accommodating to us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only 2 issue I can say we had was that WiFi was not free... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
