Greetings, I booked to stay here without reading the review on Trip Advisor, I became a bit concerned at what I read so I emailed the General Manager Jonathan Litvack to raise the concerns I had over previous review in particular the noise being made during the renovations of the hotel. Jonathan was very helpful and accommodating and the same... More

Yes it's in the renovation midst but the Sheraton quality is still there. The worst part is the elevator wait. Checked in to a room in 19th floor. Once I got in my room, the agony waiting for the elevator vanished. Quite simply the room was larger than expected, looked new from recent makeover and the usual Sheraton bed to... More

I am a Gold Starwood Member and in the Military. I decided to stay at this hotel because my girlfriend and I partied a little to hard in Hollywood and they offered the best government rate. We get to check in and was helped by a wonderful women (sorry, I can't remember your name I was a little intoxicated) but... More

If u like jackhammers from 7 am until 5 by all means stay here. If not, go elsewhere. There is a major renovation going on. Also no complimentary wi-if in the room, only in the lobby. Rooms not that clean and furniture and carpets stained

I stay at this property just about every week. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Gustavo, Mike and the entire staff is!! They always make me feel at home. Although the hotel is going through renovations, the staff works tirelessly to minimize the impacts. I finally got to enjoy some of the new rooms. WOW!!! Sheraton has really done... More

Good Los Angeles downtown hotel, close to restaurants and shopping. The newly renovated rooms were decorated well, and staffs were very helpful. Kids enjoyed the big TV, and the modern lighting in the room. Standard comfortable Sheraton beds. We would stay here again.

My girlfriend and I had a terrific stay at Sheraton Los Angeles over Thanksgiving weekend. We got a renovated room on the 23rd floor and it was fantastic. The new rooms are night and day compared to the old. Gustavo checked us in and he was awesome - he suggested that we check out the gym on the 26th floor... More

Located in the heart of downtown LA, the Sheraton delivered on a completely renovated 20th floor room, great service, fast and friendly check-in, and convenient valet parking. But, until May 2015, you'll have to put up with the inconvenience of construction in the hotel and adjacent mall and slow elevators that are being upgraded. The hotel is next to Macy's... More

I read the reviews prior to booking thinking that it was just the renovations, no big deal, since we are going to be out most of the time so it won't affect us that much! Boy, were we wrong! The lifts were so amazingly slow, that i could go back to my hotel room twice to change my shoes and... More

A terrific hotel situated in a great locality. Not withstanding the renovation the service is well beyond expectation. The staff are super duper helpful, and the breakfast is pretty good. The rooms are extremely clean and you could get a great view of the city...!!

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
